For me:

Ins: Ibbotson (if fit), Simpson, Crozier, Morabito, Apeness, Griffin/Hannath/Moller
Outs: C Pearce, Sutcliffe, de Boer, Suban, Taberner, Clarke

Here's how I would line them up. I doubt anyone cares, but whatever.

FF: Simpson, Griffin, Crozier
HF: Mayne, Pavlich, Ballantyne
C: Hill, Mundy, D Pearce
HB: Duffield, McPharlin, Johnson
FB: Spurr, Dawson, Ibbotson
R: Sandilands, Fyfe, Crowley

I/C: Apeness, Mzungu, Neale
Sub: Morabito

Post your thoughts here.
Get real.

Outs- Sutcliffe, Tabaner, Mayne till he is right.
Ins- Ibbo(wasnt bad yesterday) Sherriden(was very good) and depending if we want a tall or go smaller Crozier or give Apeness a go(wasnt that good yesterday but very good last week)

Griff was limping around yesterday while walking he is so far away.
Id even think Mora should be a consideration.

Apeness needs to build his tank, skill, and find consistency. Wouldn't throw him into the deep end just yet as it's a massive difference in WAFL and AFL in terms of pace and skill.

Okay, so I said Simpson yet I'm assuming something happened that I didn't realize. Serves me right for living in Canberra, I guess.

Maybe consider dropping De Boer. Ideally for an in form Syliva (thanks for that Colin), but Crozier deserves a run at it. Sutcliffe has credit in the bank, and he's usually a better user of the ball than that. Mayne's ankle should also be looked at, possibly rushed back.

There won't be wholesale changes.

There is something clearly wrong with Mayne. Only really had once decent game (against Collingwood) where he showed great defensive pressure but kicked no goals. I wonder if the plans to play him as a third tall alongside Pav and Gumbleton has somehow negatively impacted him? He was on fire this time last year.

Colin's got another week on the sidelines.

Hopefully Gumbleton comes back in a big way. Clarke bandwagons far too many matches. Good ruckman, can take a grab around the ground but once he enters the forward 50 there aren't many players more useless than him in the AFL. As soon as he plays forward, he becomes useless.

I thought Clarke was very good against Essendon.

outs: De Boer, Suban, Taberner

ins: Simpson, Ibbotson,Griffen (> Taberner even as a leading forward)

I don't get the Sutcliffe hate, I could only see 1 major brain fade which led to a goal, still got 15 possessions, his tackles stuck, made good decisions.

C Pearce is still finding form, deserves time. So too Mayne.

Same old, same old, really: we've got a band of unreliable players (Suban, De Boer et al) who go missing on the regular. Amazingly any criticism directed towards these players attracts dismissive scowls from their apologists who number many.

I suspect Slicedndiced and the like will crack a temper tantrum when the inevitable questions start being asked about the future's of certain players here. It should be entertaining.

Why bother with your point of view.

you're an idiot.

Griffin huh??

Yeah right.

Defiantly not, he'd benefit the most out of that. Hes not 100% and because of that hes out of form. He'll come good, hopefully by next week.

I heard that were getting him to slim down for the third tall role (why I have no idea whatsoever).

How many of those marks were inside 50? Ruckman first, midfielder second, forward never.

Overall I agree with you. Would love another tall to complement Pav. Hopefully by the end of the year we have Gumby, Taberner or Apeness playing in this role consistently and giving us two goals a game.
