The biggest issue with Hatley is that if he’s out for two weeks then back in for one, what his J/S look like? Big risk at 150k if he’s going to be in and out after impressive numbers in a debut game.
If he had any kind of JS he would've played round 1. Only way he'll get regular games is if they get a few more injuries. Hayes seems to have the better JS atm (would appreciate a dogs fan's insight)

That Wednesday night game has ******* killed rookie downgrade plans. Guarantee almost everyone who brought in Lockhart would have rathered to take the chance on Rotham, but noooooo a whole ******* game is played the day before teams are named and we're forced to make a decision. **** off.

Does a double loophole work? If you field a non scorer as captain and have a scoring player as E in the same position while taking a VC score? Surely they take the VC as the captain score and not the E
I don’t really get what you’re asking, but if your C doesn’t play, you get the VC score doubled. There are no other machinations to that rule.

I was on the Dogs' board two days ago and most of the posters there wanted to drop him.

I'm shit at explaining. In this scenario I assume I would get Gawn as captain and Bakers score forward? I'm 99.99% sure just don't want any surprises if I do it

It's a last ditch effort to save his own arse. Drop the kids and bring in the experienced hacks. Can't wait till he's gone.
Nick Larkey and Tarryn Thomas are hardly “experienced hacks”compared to Ahern, Scott and Simpkin though.

But yeah, the Scott years have been nothing but mediocrity for North. Time for new blood. Has there been much shake-up at assistant level recently?

Don't know why you would be assuming Rotham is in??

He was far from our worst last week so deserves a game this week. But in my opinion he is a vfl level player and I can’t see how he stays best 22 long term. Bevo might just love his effort though so who knows.

One more week for Constable/Gibbo/Duursma etc. to moo? Scott more valuable as a MID loop, so can’t see people only taking a measly $20-30k upgrade, and he’s nice and juicy by the byes.

Nowhere near the lock he was two days ago now. In fact, now he’s a big risk.
