Just on Stack, how many times during the commentary on 7, did we hear that Stack was overlooked in the national draft and then lived with Hardwick and was then picked up in the supplementary draft. Pretty sure Hamish himself repeated it about 4 times!!
and thats why i always watch with the sound down!!

That’s the problem with having commentators that haven’t played at any top level.
Ex elite players generally have more insight into the match in front of them instead of having to generate a narrative out of nothing.

Did Melbourne not watch our game against the Tigers?
They did.

But they’re just not that good.

Something drastic has happened to them.

Maybe they have been drinking their own bath water.

Maybe that prelim destroyed their inner confidence - shattered their belief in each other.

Maybe and my guess, Gawn has lessened that little bit.

Or if all else fails, blame the camp they went on 2017/2018.

Richmond are still easy beats imo. Melbourne made them look okish.
Tiges gameplan ruthlessly exposes poor skill level and bad setup. Both are in abundance at Melbourne and with most of the comp.
Against the big boys like WCE, they wouldn't have much of a chance.
