Fremantle v Western Bulldogs. Perth Stadium, 40pts, 41k - a Friday night without a Vic "bug 4", amazing
Port Adelaide v West Coast, Adelaide Oval, 35pts, 33k - normally WA sides are protected from back-to-back travel, Gimmick Round removes that
Greater Western Sydney v Brisbane, Manuka, 50pts, 10k - smacking weak teams doesn't answer the queries on the Lions
Geelong v Sydney, Kardinia Park, 11pts, 33k - might just be the toughest one to pick
Hawthorn v Adelaide, York Park, 15pts, 10k - this is the other difficult one
Carlton v St Kilda, Docklands, 38pts, 39k
Gold Coast v North Melbourne, 20pts, 12k - we're s**t, and even more s**t in Qld and SA
Melbourne v Richmond, MCG, 16pts, 75k
Collingwood v Essendon, MCG, 65pts, 91k - could be much closer, anzac day has been close sometimes even when the teams are further apart than currently

We need a bigger stadium than the MCG.

You mean like when we smacked those weak teams the Demons and Magpies?

I wouldn't say "smacked" the Demons. But the questions, imo, are about good teams away. Obviously its difficult, equally obviously winning a flag requires doing so. Belting GWS (even away) won't do anything about those doubts.
There aren't many times in a season to prove that. Maybe if Carlton fall in a heap before then, round 8 is the first real chance.

You are kidding if you think that if we belt GWS won't help our cause. Of course it would. What would hurt would be losing to them.

We smacked Melbourne (for 3 1/2 qtrs) in an area of the ground that is their strength. We took Collingwoods game away from them and beat them fairly convincingly.

Now look. Would we have preferred to not drop the ball against Port in rd1 yeh sure. We certainly weren't in it mentally after half time. We also had more scoring shots against the dogs. We also left some % on the table against your mob too. If we had of taken our chances we should have put 150 on the roos.

Thing is we have time to fix our issues. I'm glad we are finding holes and mental lapses in our game now. At the end of the day if someone told me we would be 3-2 come rd 5 I'd take it knowing we had 4 teams that alot of ppl have in the top 8.

Dockers v Western B
Port Power v WC Eagles

GWS Giants v Brisbane Lions
Geelong

Hawthorn v Adelaide

Carlton v Saints
