Yeah ok, maybe i'll pass not :drunk:
If you do Moore to baker it makes about 170k and baker is due to go up 70k this week, it’s a risk but could be worth it
Yeah as long as you realise that Moore has job security, is scoring ok at 78avg, and has DPP. You would need to be thinking Baker plays in your best 22 each week and can avge 75+. I'd be holding Moore a little longer....to me he's becoming the guy you upgrade rather than downgrade and i'm trying to downgrade lesser performing rooks rather than just guys at a nicer price.

28 trades left and 13k in the kitty, 2190 last week and in the top 5k overall
Was thinking:
Butters>Ross
Parker>baker
Net 200k and next week Rozee>T.Kelly

IMO Clark to Lockhart ....then at the first opportunity move Lockhart to replace Clark ...this opens up your Duursma DPP to swith from DEF to MID ....you have enough money in this trade to go Rozee to Kelly next week

Yes do the Parker trade, if you feel inclined .....personally I wouldn't, as I think Parker will rebound

Also remember to loophole tonight .....put Setterfield on field with (E) on Balta ....never know, he could do a Gibbons ;)

26 trades with $62K in the bank.

Thinking Collins to Lockhart.

AND

Gray to Baker? Am I crazy for thinking this is a good thing to do? Possibly too much of a downgrade?

Can't think of anything else I should be doing, need to start making coin for upgrades! Any other trade ideas are greatly appreciated!!

Your backline needs a bit of work. Scrimshaw > rookie and Collins > Crisp or B Smith

Lockhart vs Ross
JS and scoring?
Cotchin and Graham are the danger to Ross. I think Lockhart was injured not dropped so JS seems better?
Scoring wise Ross is ahead, although Lockhart could play back so might change things...
Got 2 more weeks before Cotchin is fit. Can't see Graham pushing Ross out at the moment.

Did some planning this morning, lovely day for it.

This week will just be Clark to Lockhart, leaving me with $142k and this:

View attachment 660928

Then next week I should be able to afford:

Scrimshaw -> Hurn
Duursma -> Hately

Rough plan for when to trade / potentially trade non-promos.

Before byes or potentially before byes:
  • Duursma soon
  • Scrimshaw soon
  • Drew soon
  • Constable soonish or r12
  • Atkins soonish or r12
  • Setterfield soonish or r13
  • Balta soonish or r13
  • Scott soonish or r13
Not until byes if they keep playing:
  • Moore r12
  • Sheed r12 or keep
  • Walsh r13 or keep
  • Hore r13
  • Brodie Smith r14 or keep
  • O'Brien r14 to Grundy
  • Lockhart keep
good side, good plan :thumbsu:

Drew on the bench feels like a waste though. have you considered swinging Moore into defense, Setterfield forward and Duursma into mids?
gets Drew on field, Scrim off, opens up your D/M link and gives you a better Mid E should Constable miss again.
it's a whole lot of messing around for marginal gains (if any) but i'm just throwing it out there.

My trades this week
Clark > Lockhart
Burgess > Barker
Leaves me with 252

Could do Collins > Sheppard instead of the last trade but will have to have Balta or Lockhart on the field which i'm hesitant to do.

Cheers. I just tried it and not sure it’s best for trade plans for next week. It’s better for this week though you’re right. Something to consider, thanks mate.

Needs to be said over and over coz it gifted the Pies a flag in 2010.
Same gift happening again for the first time since.

Imagine if Sydney finishes top 4 two years running including a flag then gets told they can have their last 7 games at the SCG, when they will be playing finals there AND the GF is played at the SCG.
Imagine if WCE got handed 7 games to finish off the season at Optus this year.
It would be a scandal the Melb press would make sure could never happen again.....but it is.

I think the Tiges play like 5 actual away games this year, and even they are against mobs that finished bottom 6-7 mainly.

Bugger it, i should give Gill a call and blast him about it....just after I ask him "Baker or Ross ? "
Collingwood supporters get a bit touchy when I point out the leg up they got in 2010 playing 10 games in a row at the MCG prior to the GF replay.

It was no wonder they were the fresher team when they hadn't had to travel for about 3 months, St Kilda only got 2 games at the MCG prior to the finals.

I'd feel dirty blowing both of my trades for the week before the first game of the round though!!

I'd love to do the double down this week but need to start upgrading at some stage. Hayes and Hately likely on the bubble next week, with Bewley, North and Hind still to put in appearances. Lots of mid rooks, but scarcely any others, which is why Baker is the must have for me this week.

I would consider Lockhart, but Rocky is likely to rise by just as much this week as Lockhart, and should score a lot more points. Gotta get me some of that action!!

Hey guys, have $72k/26 Trades... I'm considering these 2 trades this week:
Collins -> Lockhart
Atkins -> Rockliff

Ideally I'd like to get Whitfield to strengthen up my defence but not keen on trading out Williams or Smith at this stage...

Or any other area I should focus on?

Atkins still has a negative BE and got more mid time last week when Parfitt got injured. The other thing that impacts that is that it then puts Constable on the bench, when he will probably score higher than some of the rookies you have on the field in other lines. If you are intent on getting Rocky (I am) I'd probably cull Brayshaw for him, unless you are confident Brayshaw will come good.
