Clark > Lockhart
Tuohy comes back in soon, does Clark get omitted? Lockhart shaky JS and very slow burn, but at $102k with DPP, I'll take the chance.

Parker > Ross (via Drew)
Still some mooing to do from Parker, but this trade allows me to put Drew on field, and $100k in the bank.

Will leave me with $387k to get a fallen Telly/Laird next week, and a look at Hately/Hayes.

You’d probably be top 100 if you didn’t start with cousins right?

That extra 100k could have been more useful elsewhere I would imagine.

Probably. I don't regret picking him though, averaged high 70s in fiest few weeks and allowed me to get a (half) upgrade relatively early. If Cousins started slow I would've been in real trouble

I'd feel dirty blowing both of my trades for the week before the first game of the round though!!

I'd love to do the double down this week but need to start upgrading at some stage. Hayes and Hately likely on the bubble next week, with Bewley, North and Hind still to put in appearances. Lots of mid rooks, but scarcely any others, which is why Baker is the must have for me this week.

I would consider Lockhart, but Rocky is likely to rise by just as much this week as Lockhart, and should score a lot more points. Gotta get me some of that action!!
Good call if you didn’t go with Lockhart (based on tonight’s return). Don’t think Hind will see much game time, if any, injuries aside. A player that couldn’t get game time at the Bombers but was able to bump up his perceived value on the back of one great piece of play in the “reserves” win in the finals last year. I might be underselling his talent a little bit, but still don’t see an SC future for him yet

Tough decisions to be had.
Used 1 trade this round - Scott to Ross.
Ross pleasantly has surprised me by scoring an 89.
Now that's value.

The second trade - I am undecided on but will likely make one, don't want to make the wrong move; don't like these types of rounds
from a SC POV but it does make it interesting in a sense I can see more footy as don't usually have the time.

I already have an idea for RD7 trades - bringing in TK and Hately is my aim.

Goldstein > Crisp via Bines back to R3, ROB to R2, Moore to FWDs.
Really not sure on it as it places a burden on ROB to maintain the 85 odd clip for a little while and it’s got a sideways element to it, but for some reason it seems attractive.
