Milera out won't actually affect Laird much. Milera was rolling between mid, wing and high half forward. Laird has been playing his normal role off half back. His scoring is still ok but doesn't look like to rival Lloyd or Whitfield any time soon.
Milera may well have affected him early as he was playing in defence. As you say he moved around a bit but that was partly due to working out how hime Laird and Smith can work together and partly due to our midfield needing a different look at times.

On the weekend though he wasn't in the back 6 at all even prior to injury so the weekend was the 1st look at life without Milera already. DIdnt score big but looked better IMO.

I think opposition attention hasnt helped him.

This trade will just shoot yourself in the foot imo

Best defensive midpricer for speculative rookie who plays as a small forward

And 2nd/3rd best forward rookie with plenty more cash to make for someone who might be tagged again to a low score (Hutchings)

Reckon Smith and Setterfield onfield is better than Kelly and whatever rookie you choose to field in Smith's spot most weeks imo
After reading this I have given more thought to my trades and i will be keeping Smith and just making a couple rookie corrections in Scott > Ross (now that Cotchin will be out for longer) and Clark > Hore. I know im getting Hore a round late but he can be my D6 while he keeps producing 90s and since im keeping Smith my backline now has depth and quality. I have 120k leftover now and am thinking about downgrading Butters next round and then upgrading Parker either next round (if i have the cash) or the round after.

afl website saying dunkley possible omission. salt in the wounds...
Wow, that would indeed be salt in the wounds. Bevo plays the bloke out of position and then drops him when he struggles to find his best form! Tough love indeed. Then again, last season he came back very strongly after being dropped so maybe that is a possibility again!

How could you possibly consider trading in jones after putting shit on him for half of last season? You’re obviously putting us on.

kellys score i put down to a poor game, but look at the stats. boak has gone down since. not saying he wont be top fwd. but his weekly score has decreased.

its i grab kelly on a bottom out now and possibly miss macrae on boak, or get macrae, or get boak, haha.

Yeah that's probably a much better move, even if you're paying a premium on Hore

I know midfield madness hasn't quite worked out for you, but get the rookie situation in order first then start fixing them midpricers or whatever

Very annoying that we won't know the majority of teams before tomorrow night's game.

I need to choose between Butters and Scott to go down to Ross. On breakevens I do Butters (38) over Scott (11) but if Scott is dropped then I may as well give Butters another week.

Probably won't matter too much as whichever one doesn't go this week will next week for Hately/Hayes, but you just know whichever one I ditch will have a blinder and kickstart more cash gen.

He started Billings...that means just about everyone gets a second chance.

Jones actually doing well this year. He, along with JPK, are carrying our midfield this year. As long as he stays in the guts then I reckon he can average 90

we're in more trouble than I thought if Jones is getting tagged, I don't think that will happen. Will be Heeney, Parker or JPK. Most likely option is "nobody", why would they tag? They will beat our midfield easily. If I had to say someone though, it would be JPK. Heen will just play half fwd and then he becomes too good in the air for DeBoer.

Tough week. The Ross JS improvment does help a LOT though.

Assuming constable comes straight back in:

Cousins (die in a hole) --> Ross
Parker --> Heeny Dog

Happy with that.
Yep same boat here, same ins, just I'm leaning towards holding Parker for a bit longer and trading Clark instead, Clark and Parker have basically scored the same the last two weeks, just Clark is worth more and isn't finding as much of the footy anymore as he did first few weeks, I feel Clark is in danger of not making much more cash

I'm getting Mitch Hannan 2017 vibes from Parker, the moment you trade him out he'll score another 80 odd and make another 100-150k over the next month

Feel his floor is bad but his ceiling is decent if he can take a few grabs/lay a few tackles, just hoping over the next two weeks he delivers

had a feeling that would happen eventually. Just seems that Dunks is surplus to current needs. I mean they were playing Libba and Crae fwd at the end of the game last week, they have too many of those types.
Yep and Bevo hates playing talls and one on one types

We stink because he hasn't moved on from his pre-2016 methods, he hasn't adapted to no third man up and 666

Clark will be dropped for Tuohy this week or next.
