Just noticed Lockhart is a DEF/MID. Was he always? In my mind, he was just a DEF so I wasn't really considering him. I might get him in my mids over Hayes now given I'm not sure Hayes will play.

Also just realised I don't need to tie Stack into my Duurs trade. They're both DPP so I can just swap them, then make my trade. I'm so smrt. :drunk:
I like this and considering the same. Hayes/hately could both go as soon as they come in. And we wont know if hayes even gets a gig. I think I'll wait one more week just to avoid locking a stack dpp move in with my trades this week.

I dont know who to trade mccarthy too. Can upgrsde to anyone. Already have danger/kelly and worp. Anyone got any advice who?

Leaning towards heeney but I traded him out 3 weeks ago before he decided to football :-/ boak i think is too expensive so martin/billings the other considerstions. Concerned with the tag on both of them.

So after trades, this is my rook situation:

DEF: Scrim, Hore, Stack (Clark, Burgess)
MID: Constable (Hately, Lockhart) - Not including Walsh, he's at least considered a mid-pricer now
FWD: Drew, Miers (Petru, Gibbons)

Happy with that for now. Clark and Burgess will need to go next week. Scrim and Drew probably a few weeks left.

Rozee is showing as injured on my team, is this just another fine example of the Fantasy website crappiness? Or is he actually injured?

My trades this week are:
Butters > Hayes
Shultz > Walters

I need to know what to do with Rozee if he is injured, I can't find any mention of him on the AFL website though.
They seem to be ultra conservative with the injured tag, if a player copped any minor injury in the previous game the seem to tag them. It's not a bad idea as it lets you know that they could potentially be an out.

Milera down to Hore has to be done...

Then deciding between...

1. Duursma/Clark > Salem
2. Parker > Fiorini
3. Parker > Hately
Huh my trades are actually very similar to yours. I'm planning on doing Milera > Hore and Duursma > Salem (traded Clark last week). But then I can only trade Parker to forwards, and I'm $1K off getting Heeney, so I'll leave that till next week. My reasoning for getting in Salem is that if he can score this well when the Dees aren't performing well, surely he does even better when they inevitably get up again.

The problem for me with getting in Salem is that my trades are locked, but I think I should be fine as the only way I cop a donut is if Drew and Miers both miss, and I reckon they'll both stay in their teams. A few people are thinking that Drew will be rested, but none of Duursma, Butters or Rozee has been rested, and surely Port don't rest all of them, and Drew should be one of the safest of the four rookies.

In your position I would actually go with Parker > Hately though as Salem's consistency is questionable.

EDIT: Changed my mind (again) to Parker > Corbett. I've decided to save up to get Cogs next week as his run until the byes is amazing and due to that tagged game he's probably the cheapest he'll be for a while.

Yeo kicked his shin/foot in the first quarter and he played out the rest of the match after that. Don’t think it’s anything to worry about

If I trade in Hayes over Hately and he gets dropped (will be locked due to Stack) I'll be pissed.
Who are you using for this trade?
If it’s Duursma just swap him and Stack on field (by flipping the cards and using the arrows). Stack will be locked to Def but you’ll have the flexibility of reversing your trade and going Hately if Hayes isn’t name

Considered Libba to Merrett, then saw Rocky is same price and has scored more even with concussion game.
Seems to early to trade Libba but if I add Merret/Rocky for Durrsma via Stack DPP it bumps Constable to the bench. Too much money sitting on the bench I feel.
Then I look at my rubbish fwd line with
Dangerfield, Boak, Worpel
Setters/(Petch), Drew, Gibbons
(and Schulz)
And wonder why I'm even looking at the midfield.

Was going to go Duursma to Sheppard but thinking Burgess to Hore instead.

Burgess is going nowhere $$ wise and Hore could score within 20 points of Sheppard.
Also thinking Duursma could go 70+ this week.
Still leaves me with $240k for next week

Trading Jordan Clark out to a rookie (I reckon he will be rested for Tuohy's return)

Am I better off just getting Lockhart, or should I gamble and wait to see if a better 170k option appears on Thursday ?
Keep an eye out for Noah Answerth (bris) 170K mid/def. has been playing very well in NEAFL and I think could debut this week. Fagan has said they will make changes and reward players in NEAFL side. Answerth was on my watch list in the pre season too. One to watch.

I’m in the same conundrum. As much as I want both rocky and Merrett. Makes no sense to go those guys over upgrading the poorer rookies on the field in the side

Nice, he could be one I can look at next week.

So is more mid time guaranteed for Dusty this week with Roo back? The first two rounds when Dusty/Lynch/Roo played together Dusty scored poorly but that was with Cotchin in the team.

Breakeven of around 90 this week so waiting a week should be fine but for under 600k looks tasty.

I think the dees will send Harmes to him tonight, will continue getting tagged if he plays increased midfield time I think. And that was the problem in the first couple of rounds.
