I’m in the same conundrum. As much as I want both rocky and Merrett. Makes no sense to go those guys over upgrading the poorer rookies on the field in the side
Rocky against North sure would be nice.

North have conceded some decent scores to mids Merret 143, Shiel 127, Heppell 123, Neale 146, O'Meara 132 and Rockliffs big 178 preseason score. Drool.

Even holding Duursma this week doesn't seem too bad (but those 3 consecutive 50's have him on thin ice though)

Really undecided on whether I chase Merrett this week or fix up rookies :/

At this stage I've stuck with Duursma > Merrett, Rozee > Hately. Luckily I'm not locked into those trades tonight with the tip to shuffle Duursma and Stack above!

Would like to turf Burgess, get ROB etc. but just not sure where to prioritise.

The Ross v Baker v Hately v Hayes decision is a tough one.

Hayes obviously much cheaper but JS is iffy.
Hately is probably better than all of them.
Ross v Baker - who goes out for Cotchin or is it someone else?

I could even get two of these players in this week but currently looking at 1 of them, and I have no idea who...

I think North are a chance to bring in Kyron Hayden as a tagger. Would probably go to Rocky?

Who does Merrett replace in your midfield? Constable? Or are you rolling with three rookies on field?

Rozee is showing as injured on my team, is this just another fine example of the Fantasy website crappiness? Or is he actually injured?

My trades this week are:
Butters > Hayes
Shultz > Walters

I need to know what to do with Rozee if he is injured, I can't find any mention of him on the AFL website though.
I feel the need to give Sonny a week with Blakely in the team.

As a Freo fan I am hoping Sonny continues to be a 60/40 mid but I'm worried Connor might change that atm.

Current team is 3 rookies - Walsh, Constable and Stack. I've swapped Stack & Duursma. So trading in Merrett would give me an extra premo mid (for Duursma).

In your case I'd do it because you have 3 mid rookies with one close to maxed out. (Although I'd get Rockliff)
I'll likely settle on two rookie upgrades again.
Should be a forward rookie to swap for Schulz.
Already ditched Burgess for Hately.

Thanks :) I already have Rocky, so think I will go with Merrett due to his BE. Just hate being locked into it on Thursday.

Pray for no carnage.

Who are you using for this trade?
If it’s Duursma just swap him and Stack on field (by flipping the cards and using the arrows). Stack will be locked to Def but you’ll have the flexibility of reversing your trade and going Hately if Hayes isn’t name
You are a god! I didn’t even think of that! Thank you ❤️

My Midfield: Crae, Bray, Mcrouch, Rocky, Taranto, BCrouch, Libba, Walsh (Constable, Stack)

Feeling like it’s too stacked atm so with the couple of people considering trading Libba this round it has also got me thinking...

Duursma > Hayes (DPP Stack to Def)
Libba > Hately (Bump Constable to M8)

Leaves me with $745k for next week for a restructure and two rookies who’s scoring potential looks good

I’ll obviously be sacrificing points this round (doubling down instead of going one up one down) but it’ll allow for a double uber upgrade next week which will benefit me in the long run. Something along the lines of;
Scrimshaw > Whitfield
Rozee > Boak

Is this crazy?
Why not just do one upgrade each week and get the extra points?
Hi All,

Was hoping someone would be able to help me with my team. Doing pretty well this year (considering living in the USA) was in the Top 50 after round 4, but dropped to Top 300. Changed captain last second from Lloyd to Cripps never helps!

Anyway, my team is as follows:

Backs: Lloyd, Whitfield, Laird, Smith, Duursma, Scrimshaw (Emerg: Hore & Clark)
Mids: Cogs, Rocky, Cripps, BCrouch, Libba, Walsh, Constable, J. Ross (Emerg: Stack & Gibbons)
Rucks: Grundy, Gawn (Emerg: who cares)
Fwds: Danger, Boak, Kelly, Worpel, Rozee, Drew (Emerg: Parker & Burgess)

I only have $24k in the bank, so was thinking of moving stack to defense with Duursma and downgrading to Hayes. The other trade I am really not sure about. Do I upgrade Rozee --> Daniel/Heeney/Martin, Do i upgrade Libba to Zerrett?

Was hoping someone could help out here, in quite a good overall position so looking to keep moving forward.
Top 50 after round 4! You don't need my help!

No matter how much I want to upgrade this week I cant handle having Schultz, Clark and Burgess on my bench not making money. Especially with good rookies like Ross, hately, baker and hayes not in my team. Double rookie swap it is
Fix the rookes! It's like eating your veggies when all you want to do is go for dessert.

Gonna have to play one of Ham,Parker or Balta on the field this week.....

Any suggestions?
Ham likley to be dropped. I would chuck the E on balta, and if he scores more than what you think Parker can put up (45), chuck Ham on field and you will get baltas score. Run the risk of not having an E for the forwards so it’s a cost v benefits situation!

Keep an eye out for Noah Answerth (bris) 170K mid/def. has been playing very well in NEAFL and I think could debut this week. Fagan has said they will make changes and reward players in NEAFL side. Answerth was on my watch list in the pre season too. One to watch.
Trouble is we won't know until after Lockhart is locked out.
Will play safe and just go Clark to Lockhart for now

Well it's round 6 but my team is an utter shambles. Made the mistake early of looking up breakevens and saw last season not this season. End result was Libba and Smith both traded out after round 1 because I thought their BE was over 100 😣

A newb mistake!

Anyway currently ranked 15k because of this stuff up which also includes having paper weights Burgess & Balta clogging up my fwd bench.

Current lineup
DEF: Lloyd, Williams, Duursma, Scrimshaw, Wilkie, Hore, Clark, Cumming

MID: Macrae, Cripps, Treloar, Rocky, Merrett, Bouch, Constable, Stack, Drew

FWD: Danger, Kelly, Newnes, Worpel, Rozee, Parker, Burgess, Balta.

RUC: Gawn, Grundy

Likely trade out targets are Duursma, Parker or Burgess. So the question trades for this round?

Hayes > Duursma (via Stack) & Burgess > Gibbons? Allows a structure change of Parker to the bench and Drew playing FWD. Gibbons a short term bump with a BE of 1????

Newnes > Hayes (via Drew) & Burgess > Walters? Walters has the dogs and is fairly unique. Also resolves the Burgess issues and gets Parker to begin again.

My rational is Parker is almost maxed but slightly more useful than Burgess, so fix the FWDs. Or am I focusing on the wrong area? Should I be looking at Z.Jones, Cunningham or Sheppard??

All assuming no injuries with the current line up.

Which 2 rookies to get for Clark and Schultz? Hately, Baker, Ross, Hayes? Thinking of Ross and baker because hayes can wait a week and hately is pretty pricey
Don’t Richmond have a few to come back ?? I have both, but expecting that one might miss in coming weeks as they get players back.

I know he is pricey, but I’m getting Hately for hopefully higher JS....

Yeah you'd assume one would go out for cotch, think it will be ross personally. Hasn't baker taken castagna's spot though? And hes doing pretty well

So with Reiwoldt back and cotchin out for longer I'm guessing Dusty will play more midfield time.

Still not sure if I'm brave enough to pull the trigger.
A breakeven of 92 mean I think we won't be punished to much for erring on the side of caution this weekend/tonight
