Lockout rules - PLEASE HELP....

If i trade B Scott down to Hayes
and use extra $ to upgrade Rozee to Dusty

will i be able to undo Hayes trade if he isnt picked?? (after Dusty has played)
..and do a different trade that provides the necessary money
Nop
Your Dusty trade becomes dependant on the first trade, so both are locked after Dusty plays

Really tough this week. I think with plenty of rookie options double downgrading is fine, although its complicated with the partial lockouts and not knowing teams. I'm looking at 2 options really.

Option 1 -
Parker -> Ross (via Atkins forward)
Duursma -> Hayes (via Stack back)

$533k in the bank for next week.

Option 2 -
Parker -> Hately/Hayes
Duursma -> Laird/Sheppard/Witho

---------------------------------------

Option 1 I have to do tonight and it makes it a tougher ask. Leaves me plenty of cash for a double upgrade next week with great cover on the midfield bench. But without knowing 7/9 games of teams its very nervy to do it. I still obviously have the option of not trading Duursma but he'd have to move tonight to let me trade him down.

Option 2 is a lot safer and I feel its fine. Gets me a premium defender this week and still gets one of those midfield guys in. Leaves Stack in the midfield for some DPP flexibility with trades.

Would love thoughts.

Corbett the only 170k certainty if that helps
I will risk not getting Lockhart I reckon
Plus it opens up a potential loophole with Stack EMG down back. If he has a good score, I'd be tempted to trade Clark to a non playing player (who is close like Answerth) to get Stacks EMG score over Scrimshaw

Yep I've changed my mind again (back to my thoughts at the start of the week). Salem in, getting Parker out can wait till next week. If we fall, we fall together.
It would be an epic fail. I’m trading in both Hore and Salem which means I have 3 players in tonight’s match. And if there’s any selection surprise tomorrow with teams I won’t have a trade to use cos both are locked in.

I’m scared! My fantasy weekend could be over before Thursday 😳

Couple options

Double upgrade:
B hill to zerrett
Mills to cunningham/jones/sheppard (I like Cunningham's ceiling of two 120s, although that's what got me stuck with bhilly)

1 up 1 down:
Parker to Hayes via top
Duursma to cunn/jones/shep or mills to whitfield/lloyd.

I reckon 1 up and 1 down is always best if you can manage it. All 3 look solid shouts for top 6. I'm probably going for Hately at this point. WB have a ton of mids and are pretty injury free so you'd have to question Hayes job security. Although it's mostly the WB board's dislike of Hayes that makes me feel that way.

If Hayes backs up this week with a decent performance he's still only rising 40k or so and you can jump on him next week.

Think Answerth could even get named this week. Apparently there’s going to changes at brissy and he has been playing well at NEAFL level

Averaging 53 at NEAFL, not a fantasy player
Nope not at all. Might even play Harris’s spot until he’s back although brissy supporters would no better. Was more in reference to happy eagle wanting to pick up a 170k defence rookie who’s a chance at getting named in the future
