Lloyd or Boak this week?

Reasons for Lloyd:
- seagull
- will just keep getting 120+ until I get him
- clear top 2 defender
- seagull
- Boak has higher BE

Reasons for Boak:
- think he scores more than Lloyd this week, I'm hunting for a 140+ which Lloyd is less likely to do
- cheaper
- Lloyd has poor record against GWS
- easier matchup this week, would be awesome owning both Boak and Rocky if they go off together
- Boak is far more unique than Lloyd, so greater risk and greater reward. I'm willing to take risks now to rise up the rankings.

Someone help me!
I didn't need to read past Lloyd or Boak

LLOYD - Regardless of being unique or not, he will score more

Yeah think you're right. Think I'm just chasing a big score a bit too hard, should just accept Lloyd's safe 120. Will be so disheartening to bring him in for an 80 though, he does struggle against GWS. And I'm considering Boak as a captain option, if Rocky goes big then so will he imo.

Another thing is that if I get in Lloyd, Scrimshaw will be benched. Whereas if I get in Boak, I will only field one of Drew/Petru/Miers.
Basically it's down to:
Lloyd + Miers/Petru vs Scrim + Boak....just can't split it given that Petru can get anywhere between 30-90

Do yourself and us a favour mate, join the Lloyd train so you can express how good you feel about his dirty +6’s :)

When you put it like that I would be inclined to go Boak to get one of those iffy rookies off the field. Scrimshaw has been more than decent as a playing rookie down back whereas those other two could throw a 30 at you. Plus Lloyd’s poor record against the swans means he could drop slightly in price after this week. I mean that’s a small shining light

Greenwood in has scared me off Zerrett this week, which I was already nervous of given I'd need to lock in 2 trades before teams are out.

Tempted now to use this week to grab ROB and Hately. But might wait for teams.

Typical of Hore to get me 68 the first time I've put him on my field.

I’m really struggling with what to do here, Setterfield to Hately which leaves me with 384k in the bank for next week or Setters to Heeney/Witherden/Sheppard? I really like Witho
I like the Witho pick - reckon you're buying low there. I had him pegged for 100 ave this year.

I was considering Witho as I too predicted a 100 avg. at the start of the year, but I think it's too risky given his role has changed significantly and Rich has taken over much of his former role. I'm not entirely sure about his role though, you'll have to ask a Brissy fan.

But then again, I traded Salem in, so I might not be the best if people want advice.

Yes, the Rich effect is the one thing I am unsure about. But still plenty of opportunity for improvement. 3rd season, ave 89 & 88 from 80% and 78% TOG respectively for 2017 and 2018.

Duuuuursma —> Hayes (or another rookie I’ve missed this week?)
Libba —> Merrett

Duursma —> Hayes
Rozee —> Billings (or any forward)

Feels like the top one is going a little early on both Libba and Merrett but if Merrett has another blinder I’m not sure I feel comfortable bringing him in for 750/800 over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully Greenwood gives him a touch up and he holds price for a few weeks. Slow cash coming from the bench so I really need to make the most of the fallen premos who will potentially be top 6 (8) and eek out as much as possible from the Crouch and Libba types. Little bit of a balance..

Which is better for my second trade (first trade locked in with Duurs to Hately via Stack DPP)
1. non playing 170k ruck for ROB (have Grundy/Gawn playing), or
2. Burgess to Hayes (via Atkins DPP)? This will result in Atkins playing as Rozee is injured I think (Atkins done alright last few weeks though, and I'm definitely sick of Burgess poor scores)

Team is:
Whitfield, Lloyd, Laird, Smith, Hore, Scrimshaw (Wilkie, Stack)
Cripps, Brayshaw, Crouch, Taranto, Cogs, Walsh, Constable, Hately (Ross, Atkins)
Grundy, Gawn (Fort, Cameron)
Danger, Worpel, Rozee, Drew, Parker, Petru (Burgess, Schulz)

Have $527k in the bank, so this is just more of a cash grab again - not really sure who to bring in to directly improve the above?

With all that cash I would upgrade Parker to a premo forward. Could you trade Duurs to Hayes instead for more value?

Surely make productive use of your cash by upgrading one of your fwds? There's no point sitting on money in Fantasy imo, it should be earning points where possible.

Unfortunately the Duurs to Hately trade is locked in due to Stacks DPP being used. Hmm well I'll think about that trade you suggested then, should have enough for Billings?

All I am gonna say is this - Is that you've wanted Lloyd in every week since inception, and now you have him, haha. You're overthinking it, so just get him in so you can rest easy!
