14d (11k)
5m
26 hitouts (game high)
7 clearances (team high)

and not that it means a whole lot but 5th (cumbo 4th) highest AF points

negative on his game was 0 tackles, but if he's only brought in to the team to be a key foward + 2nd ruck, it's a great game of 4 great games in a row
He is in the best handful every week now. One of the better AFL ruck prospects IMO.

Cumberland played well last week and backed it up again today.
14 disposals, 6 marks, 6 tackles and kicked 1 goal and 6 behinds.

Coulthard played well, I liked his game. 17 disposals, 8 marks and 1 goal
Taking over from George

get coulthard on the wing in the seniors, runs all day
we saw that in his games under mini but these campaigners dont play him

Samson Ryan's last 3 games have been very impressive and hits the scoreboard. 14 disposals, 5 marks and 2 goals
Next week I kosi in for Naismith , you know it makes sense

Has to be in next average game Naismith plays.

comprehensive

who was better, Kosi or May?
they're twins and both VFL average at best. Kosi was better in the first half and May got about 4 touches in the second half for two goals and one was a soft free. May is too slow below his knees and doesn't move around enough and just tries to stand on the spot marking it. Kosi is a leading type forward, but hardly takes a contested mark. They're both battlers and will help our vfl side.

Player Review

Koschitzke - started off well with 2 early goals and was having a bit of an impact up the ground in the ruck. Drifted out of the game in the 2nd & 3rd quarters before picking up some touches in the last when behind the ball as the ruckman.

Coulthard - strong performance again on the wing as he covered plenty of territory from the back line to half forward. Uses the ball really well even under a bit of pressure. A little undersized to be a wing at the highest level, but as a high half forward he could have some impact pushing up the ground.

McAuliffe - another strong outing by him in the midfield, albeit not as prolific as previous games. Seemed to spend a lot of time on the bench in the last quarter as they may have been looking to save some legs just in case a call up is needed for tomorrow. Wouldn't be calling him up off that game, but it was good to see him back to playing like we know he can.

Ryan - dominant big man on the ground again. Controlled the ruck and then pushed forward to hit the scoreboard with a couple of goals. In very good form at the moment and should be in the mix for the senior side if Naismith can't produce tomorrow against Fremantle.

Trezise - spent a lot of time on the bench in the first half as they looked to manage his minutes on return from an ankle injury. Once he got game time in the second half he slipped straight back into the type of game that got him into the seniors. Gets himself in the right positions to impact defensively and then to be an option on the rebound. A string return game that he can build on moving forward.

Cumberland - very much a what could have been game for Noah. Could have easily finished with 6 goals instead of behinds. What was more pleasing than his scoreboard impact, was the defensive work that got him involved in the game early, that then allowed the offensive side to be rewarded. 2 strong games in a row building some nice momentum as he looks to push his way into the senior side. Can't rest on those 2 games though and will need to back it up again next week.

Green - not quite the same impact as he had last week, which is disappointing as he was pushing for a debut game. May well have been on managed minutes as well, just in case a late call up is needed for tomorrow.

Smith - continued on with his very strong start to the season, especially early on where he was getting plenty of the ball across half back. A quieter 2nd half as the side got on top and there wasn't much ball inside the Coburg forward line.

El Nour - another strong performance inside the defensive 50. Often is the first to react to the incoming ball, which allows him to stop opposition marks from happening. Did his MSD chances no harm and will firmly be on the radar of a few clubs looking for defensive help.

May - not quite as impactful as previous games, but still managed to end up with 2 goals from limited chances. Will be looking for stronger performances over the next month in the hope of being a chance for a late MSD pick.

koz took some crashing pack marks early credit where its due hes not completely soft or useless like some say

he faded bad when the team did as nothing was coming to him, but he couldn't regain his earlier timing and power for the rest of the game [disclaimer i didnt see 3rd and half of 4th]

may presented and marked as an outlet down the line well a couple of times that i saw but not much else

Get a life mate. If he had of kicked 6 goals you’d be on the bang wagon

He's a troll mate. Pumps up all these duds and can't give any recognition to a bloke who's played a solid game . His second half was very good and he could've finished with four or five. NIWL has been really good defensively and results are going to eventually show. I'm not a fan still, but you couldn't knock his game today barring that stupid 50m penalty.

Cumbo was the highest-ranked Richmond player on the ground and 4th highest from every player on the ground but hey some still find with a microscope the chance to pot him.
Played a very good game
Intensity was there
Pressure was there…led the tackles with kano
Played a team game…got others involved…looked for the better option

7 shots on goal is impressive regardless

Will Bella for lions ain’t bad …4 goals

Former Suns academy player

198 cm….worth a look
Will Bella is the standout tall forward out of the Gold Coast Suns Academy in 2021, presenting as a late option with his readymade frame and forward craft.
His power and goalkicking nous draw comparisons to the likes of Jack Darling and Charlie Dixon, who are very much at home inside forward 50.
