We did enough to lose the game without any help from anyone but deadset, McLaren is an idiot and seemed to have it in for us.
McLaren is one of the most bias umpires in the league. If i were Paul Roos i would officially ask that McLaren not be allowed to umpire Swans games anymore.

Washe involved in the hideous bombers game at the SCG last year as well. I got a funny feeling he was.

as a north supporter i take great satisfaction in saying my oath kirky kicked that goal. but you wanker sydeney supporters cannot seriously believe that umpires go out and delibratly favour one team or another thats just ____en stupid grow up a bit...there was plenty of 50 50 calls that went both ways both teams copped the shit and to say 120 minutes and over 600 possessions of footy are decided by one goal umpiring decision just sums up your intelligence

horrible match to be at for most of the game.

draw seemed fair, both sides pressured into heaps of mistakes.

in regards to our final play;

goodes tripped gets the hands off to Kirk, who is possibly robbed. funny old game it be.

Just a point i have to make... does anyone else find it so frustrating when we play the stupid chip chip crap, and then when we are actually behind on the scoreboard and move the ball quickly through the middle because we have to we look like a dangerous side just can't work it out to be honest, i'm not gonna bag it because it almost won us 2 flags but geez why can't we do what we did against Port and the last 10mins of today against North every week!????!

The opposition ran out of legs so the game opened up. Just like we ran out of legs in the last 15 minutes against the Cats.

totally agree
we get slagged by so many for that style of play, but it's almost like we get sucked into it, in games such as today's, against teams such as north and st kilda (and others, i know ... eg, adelaide)
it's extremely frustrating

I know. The North board was bagging out the players and us supporters for supporting this "crap". Sure, I agree that today we played was boring, crap and an absolute shocker, but they aren't too convinced that we don't play like that week in and week out.

Though our midfield wouldn't be as good as the hard running and classy midfielders of Geelong, but I think we aren't too far off. We're a much much dangerous side when we're in attack, but as long as our key players (Goodes, Kennelly, Malceski) are playing well, we look like a more dangerous attacking side.

im frustrated because the last 5 minutes showed me we should of flogged north
Yup, and not surprised it has happened again. How many times have the Swans click on towards the final minutes of a match? Or maybe its because the opponent think they've won it so they take a short nap.

I'm annoyed at the forward set up.

For our game plan to work we need to have effective and efficient forwards. to kick 8 16 (9 15) is shocking. We really did not play our best in most spots on the ground but the forward and kicking at goal was where we lost this game as well as a second term snooze.

The other thing I hated was the comments of every North fan about how we play bad football or "Footelshall" whatever that may be. Word for word everyone repeating exactly what they read on here or heard on SEN. Prolls the lot of them.

Very poor game of footy by both sides, sydney should have put them away early but to norths credit they never gave in.
Davis today should have played his last game in the one's,he was pathetic.
Mchack got a bit of the footy but he was like a scared rabbit every time he got it,he also didn't put his head over the footy in the first quarter.
Goodes nearly back to his best and Bevo played his best game for the year.
Ablett at the after match could hardly walk, this bloke is so underated his chase of Wells in the last quarter was kirky like.
The umpires, and not only mclaren were pathetic,4 50m penalties 3 eventually ended up in goals to the future coasters and numorous 50 50's going norths way,boy we get crucified week after week.
The booing of micky o and goodsy by a section of the crowd was also disgraceful

It was a goal, the umpire thought it was a goal and changed his mind halfway through giving the decision. Was on Level 3 directly behind and it was clearly over even with my one eye open. Can someone please get stats on McLaren's umpiring of our games since AD's ugly comments. Opposition supporters like to claim there is no bias from particular umpires towards particular teams but i will claim it now, if someone can get these stats McLaren will easily be +100 in favour of the opposition.
