Just noticed Cockatoo also not named in the VFL. He looked a bit short of a gallop in the VFL. Medical sub might suit where he is at at the moment.

Sounds more like he'll just be an emergency, think they would have announced it by now if he was debuting but you never know...

As a player you'd take an emergency debut over not playing, but as a fan of I'd rather they get a full game debut complete with the news articles and attention. It's a massive milestone.

I'm very surprised that it looks like Tom Berry wont be in the starting 22 seeing he was named in the reserves, IMO he has been more than passable this year and we'll miss his pressure on the running Port backline.

I wonder if the team given to the VFL has to be the final team lodgment for a game on a Sunday
I am sure they would not have to lodge an official team till sometime after the AFL seniors is named

Same, also given the conditions look like they'll be slippery thought his attack on the ball / man would be perfect. Guess we'll soon find out.
