We played a good side and won away from home
Lions had a very good last quarter against the breeze. Not pretty footy but that's what was needed.
We did not score but held North to 2 points to win by 7 points
Inside 50's we lost 43 to 23. So coach Starch would think we got away with one today
All you can do is win and move onto next week

Next week is Friday 7.30PM v Crows at Metricon.

Just home from the game waiting for my Singapore noodles and vegetarian spring rolls. Horrible day for footy with strong winds during first half.
So impressed with Griders game she was clearly our best. Bates didn't get her normal numbers but her pressure at stoppages was immense.
Perhaps Conway is not quite right as she had virtually no impact on the game. Davo finding a bit of touch again n Dawes was important in second half. Orla good but fumbly.
An arm wrestle that went our way being adjudicated by Starsky n Hutch.....go girlssss.

Good, long creative kick too. Really intelligent footballer.
