That was a bit mean, to deprive an individual of 100 goals.

On reflection I’m still divided.

On one hand it would have really elevated the historical significance of the game to have had two players reach the 100 goal milestone in the same game.

On the other hand by allowing Fev to reach 100 the reigning “last player to kick 100 goals” would no longer be Buddy or a Hawks player.

I do empathize with Fevola on an individual basis, however ultimately it’s worth it knowing it head****ed another generation of Carlton nuffies.

Fortnite is like crack, it's the gaming version of pokies with all the bright colours, sounds and very cool Marvel skins.

I fear that the Wizard is addicted and will go down a bad path, which may include (but is not limited to) – dabbing, teabagging, virtual Eminem concerts and TikTok dances.

Truly harrowing stuff and hopefully someone like Sic can set him on the right path with an alternative like Chess, Backgammon or, perhaps Pokemon

It would have been mean of Carlton to artificially get Fev to 100 goals when he didn't earn it like Buddy did.

They were turning the ball over in the goal square trying to pass to Fev instead of kicking walk in goals.

That's the thing...we weren't trying to specifically stop Fev getting to 100, we were trying to stop Carlton scoring goals.

When the ONLY route Carlton are using is to GET THE BALL TO FEV...what do you do?

Well...you stop the ball getting to Fev...pretty simple, I would have thought?

It's not our fault that Carlton decided to go exclusively with a single pathway to goal, which meant that's what we had to defend.

Even then, my recollection was that Roughy took it upon himself to go back, but was only there for one centre-bounce befre the runner went out and sent him forward.

If Fev was good enough he would have kicked 100. Buddy entered the game on 98 Fev on 92. Fev kicked 7.3 and another out on the full so had his chances (most gifts by the way.)

Roughead and Roughead alone was an extra behind the ball for a grand total of 1 centre bounce which Hawthorn won and kicked a goal from, Roughead then went back forward.

Fev didn't kick his first goal until midway through the 3rd quarter too from memory. Carlton had open shots for goal and handballed it too him. And his 99th goal was from the umpires.
