If Mini is smart he will play Waterman deep on Barrass. I struggle to see us getting enough out of our midfield against the hawks but Waterman is the perfect player to expose Barrass' weaknesses.

I don't think Allen has the running power atm to espose Barrass.

Agree with you and Waterman. His weakness has always been giving up too much space to forwards that lead at the footy. Waterman would destroy him.

Allen shouldn’t be playing, but if that’s the match up, he’ll play right into Barrass’ strengths. Call for it long and deep. TB will fly in from the side for a spoil or mark and probably get a BOG and we’ll get “why did they let him go?” Questions all game from the commentary.

Hopefully he will handle a tag better. Hewett building to his best will help him. Just wish they had Gross alongside them. Perhaps next week.

Pretty sure he's been named in the middle the last couple of games.
That said - he'll need to play in the guts sans Kelly and Gross.

Jack Hutchinson seems to be one we’re using loosely in that role at the moment, kept Merrett a bit quieter than usual last week
