I shouldn't get so attached to my rookies. Last year, though I hung onto Terlich & Vlastuin as D7&D8, Titch at M9, Blicavs & Nichols at R3&4, Staker at F8 right to the end...all of them came in bloody hand at the bzns end.

I had Rampe almost to the end last year.wheres the 96k rookies this year.

I got rid of Dunstan this week as I think he's done with big scores and will either trade LMac out next week or look at keeping him for cover

Did you upgrade or downgrade Dunstan? I'm considering keeping both for this week as I don't like any of the downgrade options. Hallahan has got suspect JS and Cutler has copped the vest twice in three games. (Already done Impey > Zorko)

I double upgraded this week after a double downgrade last week. Dunstan and Higgins gone for me!
yeah I agree with you on Hallahan and Cutler, I'll be avoiding

next week I might be forced to bring in a couple untried rookies who I think will play later on in the year in Morabito and Honeychurch... need to build bank again for Cotchin and Selwood ins in round 9
hopefully Salems plays a full game and does well

Yeah I was thinking along the same lines. We get 3 trades next week right?

I'd like to see another week from Watson before I trade him in (b/e 130), so if we get 3 trades I could do that and also make bank to grab Sel.

If that worked out I could go Impey > Zorko & Merrett > Dahlhaus this week, just not sure if the second trade is a good move.

Sorry should have worded it better, I upgraded Higgins and Dunstan this week, downgraded Tyson and Ellis last week

Yep we get 3 trades, which is so dangerous lot... Trades will disappear!

Yeah was planning that but Dahl is looking pretty good and I was keen on him pre-season but went T.Mitch instead His breakeven is 22 so might not get him this cheap again. Also it would only cost me $90k and it fits well with my bye structure..

Would also give me an all premo FWD line (not sure if that's a good or bad thing at this stage of the season given I'm playing a few rookies in def and mid), Dangerfield, Martin, Parker, Zorko, Breust, Dahlhaus (Lloyd, Ambrose)
