Really.....deep down there is not much as satisfying as a Carltank loss.
I'm feeling fulfilled. Resplendent even.

Especially an unexpected Carltank loss :thumbsu:
Rejoice friends.

Still mortified we lost to these downhill skiers, although that match seems to have stung us into action.

Hopefully we flog them the next time round.

This season is open for the taking, might be one of those seasons where someone out of left field just comes along and nabs it.

Suddenly our loss to Carlton doesn't seem so bad because now everyone bar Essendon has had an 'OMG WTF was that?!' match. This week has made me believe that we're actually travelling very nicely! A win over the Cats this week and we're right up there!!

Essendon had their "OMG WTF was that match", it just happened to be against the worst side in football, the Suns on the Gold Coast.

Every side will have a few more, although I think we might be the exception to that, I believe we can win, or go close to winning every other game we play for the rest of this season.

We are good enough and if we can play to our best then I think this team can do exactly that:thumbsu:

Is it wrong that I was cheering on the tiprat when he kicked that goal and gave it to Joseph? Joseph is the 1st player I can recall getting subbed due to his hackiness and spud like play.

Also, is there a bigger squib in the game then Bryce Gibbs? No wonder he just doesn't play in the guts. HBF suits his uncontested type play will less body contact is better.

The 'powder' didn't look that good at Etihad. carlton looked to have the toboggan out instead of the skis last night.

Mate I could hear him up here in Qld,hate both clubs but I think I was happier
Sts won than I would have been had the Blues won.

On the Tiprat front there were a few Blues giving it to him just before he payed out and I think Joseph was one of the main 1,s giving it to him I think it was just as well the umpire sent Milne off to change his shirt because it looked like he was about to cry.

Gibbs ay have a prison issue haircut but he is as weak as water and squib it on a few occasions.

Last night's result is why I told so many not to panic over a Round 3 loss.

Fact is, we went in to the Carlton game with almost half a side, and lost our CHB and premier inside mid before half time. People forget we were only 9 or so points down when Luke Ball went down. From then on it was always going to be uphill against such an outside running outfit.

Combine that with all our stars just generally playing like they didn't give a shit and you get a 10 goal hammering.

We'll see what happens in the return bout.

For all the doom and gloom from a few weeks back, we sit 1 game and percentage off top.
