I think you have missed the Mayes and Leuenberger boat IMO, getting rookies after their second price rise is usually too late.

Other trade probably Daisy Thomas but I have no idea who I am going to get rid of to do so. I dont think I am going to have the cash to bail on either Tom Lee or B.Kennedy yet, plus I dont really want to get rid of either before their rises.

And why plan anyway, it is inevitably going to be 4 midweek injuries to force our hands anyway.
 
I don't know where to begin, but I would like to bring Daisy in, and get rid of some Port players.

I think a lot of people were hoping for at least an 80 odd so that the drop wasn't so bad.
I don't think anyone expected the whole port Adelaide team to score so badly
 
Ok- a bit of strategy here.

Do you trade in a fallen premium that is at a bargain price like Watson, Franklin and Dangerfield? Or do you chase the guy that happens to be in form and killing it, like SJ?

SJ would add the most to my team currently, but Watson's price is really hard to ignore.

I'd go on form. I'd suggest checking opposition but the big Don players were mauled by a bunch of GWS kids so that theory is now out...

Probably the fallen premium if you are confident that they will get back to form. I wouldn't suggest Dangerfield, I have him and although I will stick with him for now, I think he will struggle to score well in a lot of games this year.

Watson and Franklin are different altogether though. Watson is a super premium who should now be priced at about 515k with a huge BE. To be able to pick him up at under 500k in a couple of weeks is a huge win.

The problem I'm going to have, is bringing them all in at their lowest. Thomas this week, Franklin and Watson next week but I don't have enough money in the bank at the moment and I want SJ. Will need to bring in Vlaustin this week as well and then on top of that, there is a good chance an injury or suspension will come up.

I do have Westhoff and Monfries to trade up to SJ/Thomas which makes easy upgrades though.
 
wow! just checked Franklin's BE and it's 18x! which means he's going to drop below 450k next week, and with the Hawks easy draw coming up, he's too good to pass up!

Everyone and his dog is looking to get Daisy this week, including me ;). I might trade Rockcliff for Buddy next week, but that might mean I'd miss out on SJ altogether...oh well you can't have them all right, or could you?

Added: after some thought, I'm most likely going to do (bar injuries/suspensions):

Hoff -> Daisy
Blicavs -> gawn?

that'd free up some cash for me to pick up Buddy and Watson next week!

Time to start dumping Port players... didnt realise that somehow I have 6 of them, and they all pretty much spudded it yesterday....

Hoff will be the first to go probably to SJ or Daisy
 
Ok, so my round ended after the teams released their lineups so its been all trade hypotheticals this weekend.

Offloading two Port players
Westhoff -> SJ
Pittard -> Anyone that's playing. Ideally not a Port rookie! That experiment has failed badly...
 
Anyone know what Thomas' price/breakeven for next week will be?

Need a high scoring ruckman/forward DPP, who are my options besides Roughead? Anyone besides Cox? (Can't believe I didn't get him this year)

Geez there is some juicy premiums at fallen prices, Watson, Franklin, Cotch too in a couple of weeks will be a bargain!
