I think Boyd will average more but score overall less.

Yes, that's a good plan.

But you need to be getting the most money from your downgrades, so going to someone like Brown who is $240k has you missing out on >$100k!

Brown's score on the weekend is not going to be what he gets each week, and against Sydney he's likely to be a lot quieter and may not rise in value much.

Admittedly you are a bit short on good downgrade targets in defence - Lee and Ruggles are both fringe players.

Do you have any forwards who can be moved to defence? Adams or Mcdonald-Tippanwugi?
