I think that's the main point that a lot of the "I kept Barlow, the rest of you are morons" crowd are missing...

About now a maxed out rook is getting upgraded to a keeper, so whether it's any of those you mentioned or indeed Barlow back again is irrelevant. (Unless he goes on to be clearly in the top 3-4 F scorers of course. But that's unlikely.)

You could say it's been one wasted trade, but even then if people downgraded him to one of the better rookie options they didn't have...or even sideways traded him to say Greene (who has outscored Barlow the last 3 weeks) then it's win anyway.

The next 16 weeks will determine how good/bad/otherwise any Barlow trades were, not the last 2.

80k won't cut it. The 140 odd will only be in his rolling average for 1 game. At 180k pass for me.
