Most likely stock standard for me this week.
Spud Mid> Smith
Spud Fwd> Cox.

Would love to get Jelwood, Hanners or Rocky this week but the double downgrade will be the most help with cash generation. If Rocky gets another good score then I'm happy to pay a little more for him next week. BE of 84 means even if he gets 120 this week he'll still only go up by $20k.

Backline carnage.

Thinking Dea > Tucker
Weets > Boyd

Happy to play Ruggles while Rance misses one more (presuming he gets a gig).

Thoughts??

I'd get Smith via Brown/Tippa and Menadue rather than Tucker.

OUT: Weitering, Parish
IN: Smith, Jelwood

23 trades and 134k left

Still holding Tippa, Davis, Benken and Menadue :(

Gone Dea > Smith (via Tippa and Kerridge) - going to run the risk of playing him on field
Weitering > Boyd/Pittard/next best defender - have 666k to spend (anyone i pick will end in disaster!)

then will look to get a mid premo in.

26 trades and 300k in the bank.

Dea>Smith (via Tippa and Menadue)
Weitering > Boyd

Leaves me with 330k.

Wanted to bring in Zorko or Hanners/Selwood but I can't bear the idea of playing one of Brown/Dea on the field.

Any thoughts or better suggestions? :D

I was originally going to get Boyd over Simpson but with Laird out injured I'm paranoid about my defenders missing games so I'll be picking the more durable Simpson.

Simpson > Boyd >>>>>>McVeigh
i went with Boyd on the basis that i already have Simpson
Boyd's BE is 54, probably wont be this cheap again for a while
Why so doubtful of McVeigh? Has Essendon this week too, too many point takers at swans? I'm leaning Simpson now due to Boyd's durability concerns.
What are your thoughts on a cheaper pick such as Yeo?

So im burning through trades here. down to 20 before this week cause of shitty pre season rookie selections but i feel like i need to keep using burning them atm.

This is the team. Obviously Weit has to go out.

So i was torn between a few options.

1. Weit and emac out - kade simpson and smith in via adams back/kerridge fwd. Because emac is back to his worst.

2. Weit and that ****wit sinclair out - smith via adams and mumford/martin in. because spudclair is doing nothing every week and it hurts i picked him.

Kinda hoping sinclair is too injured to play so he doesnt lose any more ****ing money

3. Weit out for smith and just leave my spuds to keep growing. (and put sinclair on the flipping bench)

Yuck!

Yeo is fools gold!

Avoid!

building into form, not the best option at the moment IMO

alrighty then!

putting my $200k to good use and getting rid of Ryan 'Spud' Davis

OUT: Davis, Tippa
IN: Smith, Shaw

$30k left

next week I'll be bringing in Petracca and one of Dusty or Barlow..

Dea to Smith & Weitering to Dollhouse. Was tempted to go the double downgrade with Cox but its all about getting premos in. Next week looking at culling some spuds as the Petracca and Keays double downgrade may be cashcow bonanza

Solid trades.

ATM I'm thinking...........
Dea > Smith via 2xDPP
Mills > Paaarrkkeer!
Provided I can field a def that is.

I'm feeling pretty comfortable with this avvie Kadog ;)

Laird, Weitering and the insecurity of Ruggles means an upgrade in defence is absolutely necessary this week, probably Simpson or Boyd.

Don't really want to miss Smith either so probably a downgrade there. Makes me nervous making another downgrade after such a poor scoring week, especially when I'm planning to make two more downgrades next week. Hopefully just ends up being short term pain for long term gain but I've got a feeling I'm going to tumble down the rankings over the next 2 - 3 weeks.
