+1I'm thinking of doing those exact same trades.
Mills to go up 20k, big if, Parker to go up 20k very real.+1
Early on Mills but Parker is going up bigtime so going early on him seems prudent.

But Parker is a keeper.Mills to go up 20k, big if, Parker to go up 20k very real.
Evens out.![]()
So the doomsday scenario is clearly mills tonning up against the saints and parker coming back to earth with a 70 odd... could do a double downgrade, keep mills and wait for Priddis. Also means opening up the ruck/fwd DPP with Cox... this weeks trades seem much more crucial than usual.Mills to go up 20k, big if, Parker to go up 20k very real.

I have the option of mills to parker leaving me Ablett, pendles, selwood,Danger,Parker,Henners,Libba, smith. It is early and unfortunately parker was on my never again list after screwing me over. So i can see the doomsday scenario happening lol. Other oprion is leave mills and grab Dalhaus/Dusty for BenKen in Fwd line. Then grab a good mid next week.So the doomsday scenario is clearly mills tonning up against the saints and parker coming back to earth with a 70 odd... could do a double downgrade, keep mills and wait for Priddis. Looks good to me. Fine midfield. You did very well holding your nerve with your mid rookies. Looks great. Whats your trades left and Team value, must be pretty bloody good.Alright have gone:
BenKen > Smith via Kerridge
Weits > Simpson (you think I can have Simpson and Docherty?)

Plan is for next week to go 2 of Hewett/Davis/Menadue/Tippa
down to Keays and Petracca
Then week after double upgrade to 2 gun mids or 1 mid and 1 fwd!!!!!
Thoughts?

alrighty then!
putting my $200k to good use and getting rid of Ryan 'Spud' Davis
OUT: Davis, Tippa
IN: Smith, Shaw
$30k left
next week I'll be bringing in Petracca and one of Dusty or Barlow..

At $432,300 is Marc Murphy worth a punt? The savings will allow to get full premo quicker and he can slot in at M8. Talk me out of it please!
didnt watch the game, but surely didnt deserve a 60!I've taken the "punt" on him. Week 1 and he already drove me nuts with his circle work rubbish. Tonned up but deserved about 60.
Gonna be a frustrating player this year but should average 105
Yeah I did. I traded him out because he was playing as a forward.Did you not start with barlow?![]()
As well as not having Parker I also dont have dangers. Parker also on my never again list and I fear being burned. The brain is telling me that after this week not having Parker might be POD in itself. The gut tells me he is a must have....might just do the double downgrade and fork out the money for Parker post byes. Bringing in Dalhaus is solid. I may downgrade BenKen although I think Tippa has less upside. Pending teams Dea/Tippa for Cox/Smith. Same, don't see why you'd get rid of him yet you would want an almost complete side if you're getting rid of him now. Adams, Kerridge, Wells, Libba either should be the last upgrades you make or kept as your M8 or F6/D6 or bench cover imo.Are people seriously trading out Adams? BE is lower than his lowest score this year. Will be here all year as far as I'm concerned, maybe an upgrade late in the year if I've got some cash lying around.
Yeah and ive got 2 of them on the pine because of it!!! Defence as good as doneI reckon you're looking good there mate, and your plan is spot on.
Injuries / suspensions aside your defence looks very nice
Mids are probably one premo short, but as you say you'll address that soon. Likewise with your forward line. Rucks are bang on.
Nice work mate.

Yep, a good strategy. No real problem with having two Carlton defenders IMHO.
Yeah I did. I traded him out because he was playing as a forward.
If only I could see into the future that Mundy would miss 2 games and that Fyfe would miss most/all of the season
Bummer
