Saints, Essendon and Carlton coming up, North would be stupid not to give Goldy and a week or 2 off.. no chance it'll be 3, but 2 is a definitely possibility, 1 is an almost certainty imo

I'm not so sure about Goldy rumours being wrong though. He's really looked like he could use a rest the last few weeks. North are 6-0 and should have St Kilda's measure even without him. It's a long season and probably best to give hi a break if he needs one. I just checked the VFL results from last week and Daw didn't exactly set the house on fire. 16 hitouts and 0 goals and not in Weribee's best 6 players. (North's rookie ruck, Preuss got more hitouts- 21) Minson 33 hit outs for the opposition. No reason to have Daw in the 25 this week other than for Goldy cover. Make of that what you will.

it would have to be an injury imo if hes out not rested.
north would be silly to rest him this week so he comes back refreshed vs essendon and carlton.
more likely if hes rested at all it will be next week.

do you see yourself needing the goetz loophole going forward?
might be worth looking at the non playing players you have right now. check when they play over the next few rounds.
it might be worth getting the goetz spot playing.
