Business Decisions are based on Risk management
Identify the risk
Impact of the said Risk
and most importantly - Likelihood of the risk occuring

Presuming it is "possible" - "head knock" would be minor, perhaps a week. Just as likely happening to Gawn, Nicnat, Blicavs etc.

Therefore medium risk, but I think most would be in that zone...

We're both right, K

HELP PLEASE
I am new to this and need some advice on what to do with my side??
$177.800 in the bank. 24 Trades

H.Shaw, R.Laird, G.Birchall, M.Adams, J.Weitering, M.Dea (M.Hartley, M.Brown)
Midfields
G.Ablett, L.Parker, S.Pendlebury, S.Mitchell, T.Liberatore, S.Kerridge, C.Mills, D.Parish (C.Oliver, R.Davis, J.Gresham)
Rucks
T.Goldstein, M.Gawn (S.Grimley)
Forwards
D.Martin, M.Barlow, L.Franklin, D.Wells, B.Kennedy, T.Papley, (N.Cockatoo, C.Petracca)
Weitering and Davis for J.smith and best defender you can afford.

Going Cox and Smith this week now with Goldfault's impending stitch up. Collingwood's bye is too good to ignore.

Haven't decided that yet

But I think so, could happen again.
I got Goldy and Stef; North want to win the flag so he could be rested a few times, and Stef will definitely miss again if he gets another head knock

decisions, decisions
after further consideration i've decided that its just a simple rookie correction. if this was rd3 i'd do it without a second thought.

you've got me thinking now...some ruck cover would be nice.

Didn't train yesterday. Daw worked with the blue team in game sense. Couple of players/coaches in the media saying he'll be fine but clubs have occasionally told porkies in the past.

I'm considering hedging by going Weitering > Hickey via Tippa instead of Weitering > premo DEF.

However, the fact that Goldy plays Sunday arvo makes it almost impossible to wait for late outs to cover him. This means parking one of Goldy or Hickey on the bench this week which is a waste, though I'm happy enough to have Hickey as a FWD keeper.

One consolation is at least Goetz forward lets me loophole McCarthy with Brown or BenKen.

Thinking I'll go for it. If Goldy is in fact out in tonight's final teams then Hickey's a no-brainer for me.
Yeah it would be nice if North played earlier in the round. I can swing Tippett into RUCK to cover him but he and Grimley both play well before North so I'd have to do it without knowing whether Goldy is a late out or not.

...not liking this Goldy talk one bit:thumbsdownemoji:
things we do to avoid 0 showing in our scores..cox may come in for grimley.he's not scoring well enough and getting dropped . he doesnt deserve a spot in the fwd line so bugger him eh.
just want to upgrade but carnage is slowin me down.

I'll want to see BIG COX slot a few this weekend...

Goldy going down really throws things if true, I still need to cut Weitering and get in JSmith this week. Does Tom Hickey have the potential to stay at F6 for most of the year, think that is a better option the Cox who is out when Cloke comes back in a few weeks.

Got Jesse Lonergan also still floating around he needs to be culled.

Thoughts on the 2 options below:

Option 1
Menadue>Smith (lose DPP)
Weitering>Boyd or Simpson (or anyone under $526k)

Option 2
Davis>Smith
Weitering>Docherty/Pittard (or anyone under $490k)

Current backs are Shaw, Houli, Adams, DBJ, AMT, Weitering (Laird, Tucker)

Thoughts?
Decided to cull Menadue for now, as will get the DPP link back next week with Petracca in.

Thoughts now on the best Defender upgrade? Leaning to Boyd

Current backs are Shaw, Houli, Adams, DBJ, AMT, Weitering (Laird, Tucker)

Can't decide who to keep/trade out of Weitering and AMT.

Option 1- Keep Weitering and trade AMT - Before the injury affected score, Weitering was averaging 84, which is respectable for a D6/D7 given the 6th best premo defender is usually in the 90 - 95 range. Also, once he is back, he will start to make money (after an initial small loss) and should be in the 380K - 400K range after about 5-6 weeks following his layoff (so, 8-9 in total). AMT, on the other hand, has a break even of 68 and is not likely to make much, if any, more coin.

Option 2 - Keep AMT and trade Weitering - I also have Laird in my side which means that keeping Weitering would mean I have to play Hartley and Brown for 2-3 weeks and have no backline coverage for that time. Keeping AMT will not only send Brown to the bench but also mean I have cover for a late out over the next 2-3. Also, Weitering will take about 6 weeks to make any money and 9 weeks + bye to make worthwhile profit.

What do people think? A or B (trade out AMT or weitering)?

I know Dempsey is a horrible trade in. Just horrible.

But him and his stupid -10 BE keeps winking at me.
with which eye?

also is the b/e that important? if you get him in at that price do you really want to be trading him out again?
