I'll actually consider him in a few weeks if he drops further (BE of 112, so he should) and I have a trade spare. Will be decent F3/F7 cover for the year and will most likely play 22 games. Lobb and Lycett the other options for R3/F7 cover, but they're most expensive

ROB to Westhoff for a profit in a month?

Could even end up being an easy trade in for Drew should he start to falter? If he drops low enough I'll definitely trade the Hoff in.

Have $163,000 in the kitty and am thinking of a couple of senarios.

Constable > Hately
Duursma > Lloyd\Hurn

Burgess > Rotham (if named or not)
Duursma > T.Kelly via Moore

Team as it is atm -

Which option is the most important for my team?

I think I need to get another premo back in as I have 3 rookies up there which is too much.

The seagull or Hurnnnnnn would compliment my backline nicely.

Can always look to upgrading Moore to T.Kelly once Kelly cops the Hutchings tag this week and drops in price again.
You need a better R2 than Gawn. How about ROB SSwans2011?

He's missed the boat unfortunately.

Would have been a handy trade last week, giving him money to upgrade 2-3 rookies. It'll be an under $400k downgrade by next round. Just not worth it anymore.

You need Gull more than you need Telly
I think you are right mate.

T.Kelly will always be more easier to bring in than the seagull.

I just realised that I can use Scrimshaw to upgrade to the seagull instead of Duursma as he is worth more so shouldn't be a problem getting him in. :)

Atkins > Hately
&
Duursma > Lloyd
or
Parker > Heeney
Get the seagull mate.

Heeney will be easier to get in throughout the season compared to Lloyd imo.

We can both watch the seagull scab for chips on his way to 170 next week while virtual high fiving each other. :moustache::thumbsu:

Butters > Hately is a certainty

Then Collins > premo def or fwd via Moore or Constable > Hayes

If I decide to upgrade, it leaves my remaining fielded rookies as Hore, Walsh, Hately, ROB and Drew. Of those Walsh and Hore look like keepers for now and I have plans for how I'll upgrade Drew. I'll still have plenty of rookies to get ROB > Gawn when that upgrade eventually costs only $200k ($300k at most). Still confident that without too many injuries I can virtually complete my side by the end of the byes.

Agreed. Don't want to downgrade him, but my mid rookies are Scott, Gibbons, Butters and Constable, and I think Scott and Gibbons still have too much mooing left to trade, as frustrating as Scott has been.

Constable might go before Butters though.

I think North have to give him games. Anyway we'll see, 4 more games should get him to $250k and I'm not in any real rush to trade him. Don't think Butters or Constable have another $80k in them and I think he does which makes him worth holding for now if he doesn't spend a few weeks in the reserves.

We'll get a good look at him on Friday night and the Friday afterwards

If it looks like he has his old wing/float role again and pumps out 80+ then it could be an astute move
