No issue with this trade, very good. Do it, on Friday afternoon though.
 
Ok so my backline consists of 2 emerg being selwood and proud, chad, thornton, mcloud, symes, bock (yes i like my crows) birchall.

Im thinking Out Thornton and out either proud or selwood (probably proud)
In two rookies Ibbotson and someone else (both need to be playing this week to cover chad)

Problem being i also have chad and i only have 20k in the bank so i think thats all i can do ... any other suggestions?

Positive is i have 17 trades left

Thanks, I think I will go through with the trade... pending team selections of course!

Now my thoughts are, is Kornes the right midfielder? I have Swan, Thompson, Ablett, Stevens, Palmer, Griffen as my starting 6.

Corey/Cross/Kornes? Kornes is averaging less so far, but scored most last year. Much of a muchness?

Would go Thornton --> Ibbo for sure.

Could you cop a 0 in the backline? Either do that or hope that Selwood plays, but I don't think you'll find too many decent backmen around 200k-230k... then again, you do have 17 trades left...

Hmmm, I probably haven't helped you much, have I?

I traded Drummond a couple of weeks ago and got McLeod.

Got Cothin in my team, seems like a bad choice since he still hasnt debuted although hes on the bench.

Ive got Nicoski in my starting team treading water since hes out, thinking about trading him, his value is quite high.

This goes against the gods BUT, you are going to get slammed in the backs and getting a coupla rookies won't save you in the short term.

Thornton $266,400
Cornes $431,200
Bank $20,000

Total $717,600

Cornes>Burgoyne
Thornton>Goddard/Milburn/McMahon/Wheatley/Wirrpanda/Fisher/Ladson

This would at least give you 2 solid keepers, instead of 2 rocky rookies. Yes it is sacrificing the best back, but I don't think you have much choice. Cornes price will drop after he comes back, you can always pick him up again later.

Burgoyne/Goddard/McLeod/Symes/Bock/Birchall/Pfeiffer---Proud/Selwood

looks better than

Mcleod/Symes/Bock/Birchall/Pfeiffer/Rookie/Rookie---Proud/Selwood

And who's to say there won't be complications with sookies finger. But then again modern medicine might have him missing just the 1 game.
 
Can't believe anyone would think about trading The Chad.

Massive waste of 2 trades imo.

Jetta will be back in a week or two and will average way more than McKinley

Be patient with Prismall as the Cats are bound to get a couple of injuries soon.

I'd try and get rid of Nicoski first

I think that is quite a bad trade. Armitage isn't guaranteed a spot in the saints team. With Rutten injured or carrying an injury Bock may have to play more a defensive role. Also, Lachie Hansen is due to play quite soon as he has been named as an emergency for several weeks in a row.

Burgoyne/Hansen > Armitage/Bock.

But what happens if he misses more?

What happens if he takes a couple of weeks to start scoring over 100 again?

Ultimatly I get both Bartel + Goddard in which were 2 of my planned upgrades...

And then get to upgrade my last defender back to Cornes...

I dunno...

This is doing my head in!!!

Traded Coughlan and Nicoski seeing as they don't play, picked up that new carlton gun and heath shaw, now just need fletcher, cornes and priddis to be back to get a decent score again.

Valentini is also a gun, if he plays

Is it really the last chance to get on Kane Cornes?
He does play Sydney again very soon.

I could go Salopek to Kornes as i have $80,800 remaining.

This would use $50,200 and my 5th trade overall.
Leaving my midfield as:
Corey, Cross, Kornes, Stevens, Johnstone, Palmer (Dyson, Bird)

My backline is fine atm (except for Xavier Ellis possibly going downwards):
Birchall, Milburn, Mattner, Symes, Brett Jones, Gram, Ellis (Pfeiffer, Scott Thompson)

So my only worry at the moment in my team is Ellis (But i may leave him one round then get Chad later).

Thoughts?

OR

Ellis has a B/E of 96 this round, should I hang onto him or not? Milburn also has a very high B/E

I see no reason why you would do that, with the state of the backs Guerra can be a keeper and Ling can also be a keeper, 1 bad game doesn't mean he isn't. There must be other areas of your team which are struggling to attend to.
