You don't need Leuenberger while you have Kreuzer and he won't increase much while Charman plays. Trade for White or Mumford.

Hill is ripe for trade. His star is fading.

Upgrade Hall for someone like Chapman who then replaces Hill in your team.

Also upgrade Kosi to Cox if possible although you may prefer to fix Thornton as that seems more urgent.

Anyone think trading Griffen to Armitage is stupid?

I have $65k at the moment, and Griffen has looked out of it the last 2 matches, scoring below 50 and sydney this week who will give him no space. Will mean I have about $215,000 in the bank after the trade, but will be starting 2 of Palmer/Bartram/Armitage/Ebert. Would look to upgrade 1 or 2 of these players to $400,000 midfielders in a couple of weeks when they start to peak...

Or would you think Ibbotson is a better prospect than Armitage???

Do the armitage trade, you can upgrade Bartram to Swan in a couple of weeks.

Ibbotson / Armitage are much and much the same...

Maybe go S Browne if your looking for a little more value ( All depends if he plays )...

But having said that, trading Grif to either of them is pretty much a waste of a trade IMO...

You should wait for your CC's to peak then upgrade him instead!!!

Do you mean upgrade Griffen or the CC?

If you mean upgrade Griffen, wouldn't that take 2 trades anyway? One to trade the CC and then upgrade Griffen? Or do you mean wait for the CC to peak and upgrade him in one trade, while keeping griffen?

Also Cat_for_life... I already have Swan, so can't get him. Really want someone like a corey/cross/kornes

After a bad start to DT, ranked 11k, it's time to fix my team and not worry about wasting trades too early.

Really hurt myself in the midfield, particularly with Adcock (move him back into the midfield, Leigh you idiot ).

Have 14 trades left and 158k - thinking at the moment of the following trades:
OUTS: Ellis, Hill
INS: Goddard, Brad Johnson

I'd expect BJ to be back to his best after the break, and Goddard is a DT gun once he gets going. Have other issues, but these two are my most urgent at the moment. Symes I can downgrade in the next week or two to Sam Fisher or Lindsay Gilbee if he doesn't improve, Rioli still rising and has been performing solidly. The other major problem is Griffen, and if he doesn't improve, will have to downgrade a rookie in the next week or two and upgrade him to a gun.

Thoughts on what I should do?

Yeah I meant downgrade a CC for a potential CC then use the cash to upgrade Grif...

You would still will use 2 trades regardless...

But ultimatly you will not be playing 2 youngins on the park...

Already have Gilbee and I guess you could toss a coin between them for yours...

Good question because thats what I'm not sure about. King is getting more confident the minute but I think that Goddard is a safe options. On bad days he gets 70+ unlike ellis

Bunji (Mcleod) has been is great form but I dont think I can risk having another Crows player in my team

I still think Goddard ahead of him.

Milburn has a break even of 126 or something so I would wait (if you have another person in your backline you want to upgrade).

I am still on Goddards bagwagon

I can afford to get Bartel instead of Corns but I don't think now is quite the time.

I do like the look of Milburn too though, and your team jusy looks better with more Geelong players. When the cats win big, they all can't help but score well.

I might let King go through to the keeper. A cheaper option will save me some cash for when the CHAD eventually joins my squad.

By the way, shouldn't you be paying some accounts

In my midfield I am wanting to get Hodge (wait for that) Dane Swan (High BE; wait for that) and Marc Murphy (low BE).. In my backline would like Gilbee, Milburn and Goddard. I am thinking the Ellis ----> Goddard trade. Will only leave me with 30k or something. I dont like having a bank that low.

In my forward line I want the Volt, Chapman and Buddy. I know I cant get them all but I want a decent team..

Who does everyone think I should downgrade. All my youngsters have a low BE

I struggle to have more than 1 player from each team in simular positions hence why im kinda shying away from engaging Mcleod considering I have Johncock...

Having said that I want to bring Bartel and Lingy into my midfield to accompany Ablett and Corey!!!

Really tricky one for me this week, scoring well and don't really want to let that slip too much, but my backline is a bit of shambles like most on here due to Cornes being injured...

Think I will make 1 trade, N.Brown -> Ibbotson, yes I am 1 week late, but I need to cover Chad to some extent and Brown just dosen't cut it. Especially with Hartlett (inj.) and S.Thompson as my other possible bench replacements in the backs. Oh and a question mark of Symes...Thursday teams are going to be important for me, really hoping not to have to make a 2nd trade...

The following week will probably see me sell Houli for a rookie, to free up some cash to use in following weeks as upgrades. (Johnstone, Mattner, Rioli prime cadidates for the upgrade(s)).

Dont worry about only having $30k to go as there is a fair amount of money to be made in your side...

I wouldnt consider M Murphy considering you already have Stevo + Judd...

Id look at going Houli to Ibbotson...

Should make close to $130k just there...

Trading out Proud for either one of these, If i get Ibbotson I will only have about 5K left in the back but if I go to Thompson I will have approximately 60K left.

Maybe leaning towards Thompson as I need to upgrade Hill.
The negative of that is that Thompson may be in and out of the side for most of the season, while Ibbotson will make a lot more money still, especially this next week.

Wait till Friday but I wouldn't get thompson (Crazy Laidley) but then again the injuries might keep him in the side for quite a number of games.
