Had Sloane as C over Danger last week. As has already been mentioned, I reckon Danger is playing injured after being smashed in the ribs and just generally targetted the last couple of games before the Pies.

Sloane into either Robbie Gray or Fyfe this week. At least with Sloane playing early it opens up a lot of possibilities. I don't have anyone worth VC playing on Friday.

Interestingly the club has come out and said hes ok and will play this weekend. Reality is he could hardly run on Sunday. Now its common knowledge has sore ribs all opposition will be keen to make him feel it.

Not entertaining him as VC/captain for a bit.

Thinking Roo > Bont, but i keep seeing that image in the paper from a cpl yrs ago, of 6 GWS guys having Roo surrounded in a pocket like cattle dogs after he'd kicked a few.
Nevertheless he owns that ground, so Roo > Bont sounds the go for me.
Sunday looks v short on options.

Thoughts on Parsons JS?

He should come straight in especially with Parfitt's injury. If he plays like he did in his first 2 games then he'll definitely stay in the side. Even when McCarthy is fit in another 2-3 weeks he'd come back in VFL or someone like Murdoch/Lang would go out for him in the seniors. So assuming Parsons keeps playing well (without elbowing people in the face) then JS is good.
