My favourite passage was in our fwd 50 in the 3rd when Sinclair was tripped, then Wood got his head taken off and Higgins was tackled without it all in the space of 5 seconds.
Melb then get a a soft free and rebound to get their 1st goal in 20min.

They stopped us having a chance at a come back a few times. Snuffing momentum still makes it difficult to compete. They didn't make us play badly but that percentage builder they gave them could cost us a finals spot.

Nah we need to look at why we lost not blame everyone else , last week it was the clubs fault for selling the game , this week the umps .

Stop making crap up. Not one person has said the umpires cost us the game.

We’ve improved in the midfield quite a bit but they exposed we are still lacking seriously in that area.

If we'd capitalised in the third I reckon we could have been in it. Second half we kept the best side in the comp to * all goals until the umps went on a rampage late and gave them a percentage booster. Our forward line a is a bit disfunctional still. Snags and King offer no real pressure on the ball going the other way and Butler offers no score board pressure. Wood had one of his worst games for us where he seemed to stuff up everything he touched.

We still haven’t “clicked”. Kind of a weird game and weird margin considering.

Pretenders and it's as simple as that.

We're not getting near the top 4 or a meaningful final with the current list. Need to keep churning and building like Melbourne did, their best players are drafted guns not reject flops like Wood who was appalling today or Butler.

Wood was one of the better players and if he kicked better could have easily had 2-3 goals
