But bad kicking has cost them games in the past and will again in the future if they can't fix it up.

They do a lot of hard work and then don't get the result of that hard work.

Need to get better at dealing with the wind against us, we don't adjust well and get penalised hard for it. But real good to fight that over the line against a perennially strong opponent.

I'm not so sure about the criticism of Grider. Her role down back with an undermanned and inexperienced defence has changed this year. With Campbell and Koenen spending a fair bit of time in the middle and upfield, and no Lutkins, Grider is having to shoulder quite a load and no longer gets the opportunities to run off and out of the backline as she did in previous seasons.

A big improvement from Dunne today. Just need to get a few games into our newer cohort.

She’s been very panicky this year . Today alone she did a few good things but at the same time cost 3 goals.

The first being the one on one loss with the missed tackle, the second being the fumble which led to her opponent getting it in front of goal and the third being the spoil of her team mate when she should have stayed down.

Really need her to kick on which is what I expected this year, as she was so good last year with her clean ground skills and skill full kicking , but that seems gone this year. Heaps of fumbling etc still a good player but was expecting her to become one of the best intercept defenders in the afl like a jake lever type

Dunne was great seems to be improving week on week and seems to be growing her confidence to take the game on and a strong tackler. Definitely something there to work with.

Hodder despite her low disposals was awesome as well never gave up and some of those second and third efforts , with no other Brisbane players in sight saved us. Not sure what was happening there with Adelaide having 2 or 3 players at the ball all the time and 1 Brisbane player
