He isn’t a HBF, he has yet to have a standout half at HBF in the WAFL. He has played decently to very well in his limited midfield minutes at WAFL level.

Kids come into good teams, win a few contests and hand it off to players who make something happen.

In our team they win a contest and nothing good happens. Confidence takes a dent and they struggle to come out of their shell.

There was a deafening silence from any established coaches wanting to take on this clown car, because they all knew it was a suicide mission turning it around. As it will be for Mini, but at least he's having a crack and finding out which players will actually give half a turd, given the opportunity. I see Mini as a caretaker who cops the heat while turning over the list, just in time to eventually fall on his sword for the next coach to take over a, hopefully, much improved list.

We are in agreement, I just don't trust him to fall on his sword with the Eagles onfield talent, with Tasmania on the horizon, significantly better and set up to succeed because they have had sound fundamentals coached into them.
