IN: Mzungu, Croizer and McPharlin Out: Sheridan, Suban and A. Pearce.

Sheridan isn't up to AFL standard, rather Mzungu playing solidly whose AFL quality. Unfortunately Suban is time for a drop often gets subs and out the next week.

Few guys putting their hands up for a spell IMO.
Sheridan was MIA all day, Barlow out of form, Suban was pretty quiet (normal for him), and the 2 small forwards weren't that great either.
In saying that, Walters stood up in the last. Ballantyne had 3 shots at goal and set up Pavs sealer.
In: Duffield for full game. Suban sub (with a stern warning), mzungu, mcPharlin
Out: Sheridan, Pearce

I'm surprised at how many outs people want today. Its like a melt down is occurring!

Sure some players had bad games, but you can't drop all of them.

When we're winning usually the only changes to the team will be ones forced through injury and suspension. We might drop Sheridan and bring in the Gu or MDB and that's about it.

I'm pretty sure McPharlin will come in.

All these people calling for mass changes need to remember that there's a bit of a gap between WAFL and AFL level, just because a player's performing well at WAFL level doesn't mean they're going to come straight into the Docker's lineup and play well. I agree that player like Mzungu and perhaps Crozier deserve a run, but people who are looking to drop players like Barlow and Ballantyne and bring in Weller are being a tad dramatic. Weller isn't going to come into the team and be able to replicate the roles of those players straight off the bat.

Yes, some experienced players are down on form this season, but they've got enough runs on the board to stay in the team. Need I remind you we're yet to lose a game so the team can't be playing too badly as a whole.

Not the biggest Sheridan fan but he needs more of a chance than one game.

He was actually good until about half time or so.

He was on 12 possessions at half time IRRC, with many line breaking bursts of speed. He got one more possession for the game and was pretty much the archetype of a fadeout. Suban suffers the same propensity and questions need to be asked about both players' position in the team. Though in Sheridan's defense he needs more than one game before we start making conclusions about his form, fitnes, tendencies etc.

This. Maybe also de Boer in for Sutcliffe.

Thought this would be close, dogs looking good but every time they challenged Freo put the foot down. Thought had a few passengers, but Barlow & tab did not impress.

Why are peolle acting like we just lost by 40 points at home? Actually ridiculousness of Bigfooty.

Gutsy win.

Good signs from our younger players
Tabs first half playing as a true CHF was good. Sheridan struggled a bit but did some nice things and will be better for the run.

Tough selection this week. A Pearce needs more games for his development so I would be loathe to drop him against North and better to be safe with Macca and hold him off till we really need him against walker and adelaide.

Sheridan should be provided another shot based on prior form/development.

So.....

In: Gu Out: Duffield/Suban (maybe Sheridan)

Easy guys. The Bullies were on today. The same team that ran over the top of Sydney (at the SCG) and demolished Adelaide (at Etihad). They don't have much depth (as witnessed last week), but their front line talent is very very good. We'll make some changes but I think they'll be minimal.

Out: A. Pearce, (Fyfe if suspended).
In: McPharlin (Blakely or Mzungu if Fyfe is rubbed out).

Maybe Suban will make way for Mzungu or Blakely but I wouldn't bet on it.

I agree Sheridan needs a bit of time to prove himself.

Suban though has played 112 AFL games. He's had more than enough chances.
