So back to this weeks game - I'm more confident of winning this match than any other game this season. I don't know why, we're clearly the underdogs but we have a decent record against the Tigers and I think they're as much pretenders this year as they have been the last 4-5 seasons.

Naturally, playing in front of a larger crowd than the Melbourne game might make an impact, and the Umpiring is almost guaranteed to be a disgrace due to Richmond getting shafted last week (it will be Eagles like) and us getting a good ride.

We will have to make a very good start, I don't think we can implement the whole 'let's play bog average for the first half and be 25 pts down, and then stage miraculous comeback' plan this time. The umpires/crowd/Tigers will ensure we can't make such a comeback.

A 4-5 goal start from Taberner, Kersten, McCarthy and Walters will do just superbly.

I had the same confidence going into the Geelong and West Coast games. We've been so inconsistent this year over four quarters that i've got no expectations and my attitude is "f$#k it, what will be will be;" I just hope our players look like they're developing.

Reckon Walters filled a lot of that gap last week. He was great on the outside and gave us huge run and penetration through from half back to half forward.

You'd expect Suban, Logue and one of Pearce/Tucker/Sheridan to be the emergencies.

Reckon D.Pearce in. He carved it up in the 2s and now he knows he's not undroppable. I'm ok with him coming in tbh. Better than Suban and Sheridan and not sure that a Balic for Logue swap if anything near like-for-like. So long as Harley's back next week.

Prefer Logue in but will be Pearce after carving it up, Logue may make us too tall/slow or then again could prove brilliant in Balics HFF as a 4th tall who can mark.

Pearce in as second option, Sheridan in as third and Suban in as 4th.

Hopefully only the one change, wouldn't expect anyone to be dropped.
