1. We are 6-2 with the hardest draw so far.
2. We lost to a top 4 contender by 3pts and clearly had our chances to win.
3. We are yet to play any of eagles, north or rich like most clubs

the boys are having a great season

This is the attitude to have.

If I offered everyone in here a 6-2 start to the season based on our fixutre, no one would have said no. We SHOULD win the following games; Richmond, WCE, North, Melbourne x 2. Then you have 50/50 games against Carlton, Adelaide x 2, GC, Saints (at Marvel).

We're in a great spot with healthy %. If we got killed by Geelong then I'd be a little concerned.

Plus I don't think Danger actually kicked the ball with that goal they awarded to him. If you look closely there's a clear gap between the ball and his foot.

JDG needs a run in the twos. Even if he is JDG. He’s just so out of touch at the moment.

Cox does a few good things but mostly takes up a spot and offers too little.

McCreery is missing far too much of games. Time he’s sub now.

Darcy Moore was back to his 2024 self. No idea if he was impaired by any issues but he contributed goal assists for two of Geelongs goals.

You can’t not take chances when you have them. Geelong took every one of theirs.

We controlled the game for the most part of 3 quarters. Third quarter we particularly dominated yet broke even on the scoreboard.

In the end, in spite of that, and the appalling one way umpiring, a 3 point loss.

You can’t and don’t win them all.

I just hope we’re not knackered now having to get to Perth and play in 5 days.

I'd play him as sub this week. For me he seems to be lacking intensity atm. Sub him on mid way through the 3rd and tell him to let rip. He's holding back and looking somewhat lazy. I'd say it's a lack of confidence in his body. We are the A grade version of JDG away from being genuine flag contenders.

Think it depends on his fitness. If he’s battling niggles, rest and rehab. If he’s battling to play a full game, sub.

Wow, then those stats do support the feeling that Elliott and McCreery are worse with Schultz around, at least their goal output is way down. Can't be a coincidence, I don't think we are a better team with Schultz, he seems to disrupt the synergy.

It doesn't surprise me. We are trying to fit 4 small forwards into a forward line and none of them are really rotating through the midfield. We didn't have the issue in 2022 as we had Ginnivan, Elliot and Beau. In 2023, we brought in Bobby and he made Jack redundant.
