Brought in Yeo this week with much success and entering Sunday with propects of a 2300+ score.
Tunned in at 7pm to find myself on 2055 with a massive choke to lose the cashie by 80 points.
Now just staring at a computer monitor shaking with rage contemplating Goldstien's continued existance in my side and how Tom Mitchell has given me a couple of 80's, one 75 and lonely tonne for close to a 700k investment.

After I have calmed down a bit I'm thinking 130 overall is still ok and still in with a chance.

Just had a bit of bad luck the last few weeks.

This game is so frustrating sometimes when you just want everything to go right at once but it rarely does.

Oh well onto next week to try and make up some ground now....

This might help in terms of what you can expect to earn out of Ronke. Top line shows what his price would be based on score x next week, rows below then show what he would be at after two weeks (the most interesting timeframe given 3-wk rolling average influence of the 120) based on score x Rd 9, score y rd 10. If he goes 60, 60, e.g., he'd be around 320k, so 105k-odd profit. Will recheck maths later, just cobbled it together as it interested me.

If Ronke keeps scoring 60's (worst case scenario) then I will at least make a $100,000 profit which is worth 1 trade.

I think Ronke is still worth bringing in.

Will be an easy upgrade to Buddy/Walters later on down the track....

Only current top 20 team without him is 17th. I'm surprised there aren't more that took other top mid options up near the lead given his poor scoring.

He had a monster first four games though. Anyone doing well early is doing so because they started with him.

Last 2 weeks have been good, but it only counter balances the shit storm every round before that haha.

But in saying that, this time last year was the round i hit 202nd in my first year at SC too.

A week late on Ronke and a week early on Phillips? Unconventional but could be a masterstroke

The trading side of my brain is a bit left field sometimes. LOL!

I do have a method to the madness though.

Fritsch and Ronke at F5 and F6 will be plump in a few weeks when Buddy and Walters come back so easy platforms to upgrade to.

I'd rather flick Sicily up back to strengthen my backline up and play 2 good forward rookies at F5 and F6 as good forwards are thin atm after Heeney, McLean, Gray and Smith.

Yeah, what appeals is that it is (knock on wood) a quick cash injection, no 6-week incubation period, vs blokes like Murphy, Barry, Dow etc. who either don't have the JS or the big spikes to increase quickly.
I need to double upgrade this week so am passing.
