Jump in the time machine: Footscray v Collingwood VFL at Western Oval

Those Doggies' nannas knitting away, ready to give you a little stab when you yelled 'Beasley you w***er!'

That f*ckng wind that always blew hardest when they kicked with it in the last quarter

Hard scrabbled victory then back to Flinders Street for a bag full of potato cakes and an iced doughnut

Back to bed now

Well, I'm not sure about the nannas, but Schache could stand in for Beasley as a target for ire. The wind still blows hardest to the end the Dogs kick in the last. And you can still get yourself a bag of potato cakes and an iced donut at Flinders Street, al beit these days for an arm and a leg.

But is Beasley still a w***er?

You'll have to sleep in your footy gear Dave to save time getting ready to go.

Don't get him untill 11:30-12:00 at night. So yeah I had to get up Early and Head Off

In reality he already knew that but he just so much enjoyment out of baiting you with the same question every week.

One day, he's going to genuinely need help getting to a ground and will get lost in the middle of nowhere because he cried wolf one too many times. And I am not going to be there to help him when the Rathtars rip him apart...

jmac70 did you say that there is a good fish and chip shop in the area as I am thinking of going to the game.
There is a decent fish and chip shop in Seddon on Victoria street. Run by a Greek family. Not too far from the ground. Also, The Plough hotel has good food and an excellent selection of beer.
