And as much as St Kilda are witches hats this year, full credit to them, in the 2nd half, they busted a gut to try and reset this game. It's easy to be good when you are good, they dug in deep when the chips were down.

I don’t want to be too harsh as a win is a win but Saints were woeful.

Crowden has to go back to WAFL. I’ve been challenged in my comments on him but he was putrid today. Needs to remember he’s playing against men.

4 points is 4 points. But geez I was disappointed with a 5 man forward line in the 3rd. I thought it was the perfect time to give our forwards a chance to compete 1 on 1

I'm eating humble pie at the moment and it tastes great.

Funny sort of game that. A great 1st half, woeful third and meh last. Some of the skill errors were terrible. Young Crowden, just dont feel the love I am afraid. May come good but at the moment not up to the pace of the game. MCarthy was shite, that miss late in the third when he could lobbed a Joe-the-goose over the top made my head damn near explode.

Just tried to do too much at times.

* not enough movement to create space or leads
* nyhuis, crowden had mares
* johnno, cox lack any pressure and their man runs off them costantly creating an outnumbered contest
* low % forward entries, long bomb
* hospital handpasses leading to turnovers - either to a guy about to be sacked, or at their feet
* McCarthy poor decision when he had a 3 on 1
* ballas calling for the ball after a Sandi mark and spraying the shot on goal
