AS red ball cricket should be.
Gee your expectations are high tbh. Same for batsmen performances.

Except for the saviour of Aus cricket, Tim Ward (who averages about 2 more than Jordan Silk, who you’ve just put a line through). Presume you are affiliated with him in some way since you talk about him like he is the second coming of BC Lara.

I'll eat my words well bowled Lloyd Pope but I can't see how Lehmann stays in the side.
The "n" word, mate which has crippled SA cricket for the 40 years I've been here.

Think the chance of a Lehmann century is better than the chance of debuting some kid and getting runs.
You're right. I'm struggling to think of someone at grade level who is scoring enough to be promoted.

What other examples are there? Nielsen is an elite gloveman despite his father's name.
Going back?

Sayers family.
Brett Swain taking truckloads of wickets at grade level and not being promoted.
Jamie Panelli.

It's not just now. It's been there for a long time.

Sayers was a gun. I'll take your word on the other two.
Aaron Sayers wasn't a mug cricketer either. Their father coached Woodville pretty well imho.

Tim Ward (who averages about 2 more than Jordan Silk, who you’ve just put a line through
Nah. One bad season dragged down his average from a healthy @40/42. Having his best season. Silk w'd murder for Wards current numbers, at least his first three games before the BBL break.
