By the look of these emergencies, Milburn's shoulder/ribs must be okay.

In the last year we've rarely made like for like changes (ruckmen excluded).

I've no idea if Dash is good to go, but our emergencies generally give little true indication about who is in doubt.

Richmond's inclusions are great. Bowden will be out to prove why he shouldn't be dropped again and Polak is a gun IMO and could create problems if used up forward in tandem with Richo-man and Delideo.

Matchups anyone?

Generally I'd agree, however with Mackie on the bench I'm not so sure. I expect both Ablett and Milburn will play though.

Richo always gets towelled up by Scarlett, no matter what. I'd like to see Mackie on Delideo, however that won't be the case early as he is listed on the pine.

Polak is ok, but I think we can handle him quite easily. Milburn to take him on and rebound off him. This leaves Harley to float if needed, which I thought he did very well last game.

Obviously Ling on Foley? Would be killed by Foley's pace, but when has Ling been beaten by a quicker player? Not often.

Richmond are our Bunnies, I don't think we need to worry about who matches up on their guys as they are crapping themselves on matching up with our lot.

As per the pre-season game, physicality is the way, win it early in the pack and split the game open. We got behind early in that game due to not wanting to get into the pack and win the ball. This let them run with it, just got to stop thatt.

Richo won't play on Scarlett - Matty doesn't play on a wing. Tig's won't be the push over they were the last few encounters - Cat's by 6 goals.

I would have thought Harley would take N. Brown??? The other match ups sound good.

Am i detecting the lid is inadequately fastened german?

No surprises about the emergencies, since they were the three who were named as possible inclusions for Stokes during the week.

I was interested that Ablett was named as an 'in' though. IIRC, wasn't Ablett a late withdrawal against Brisbane for Rooke? So, since Ablett was in the listed team against Brisbane, shouldn't it really be IN: Rooke, OUT: Stokes?

That's my take on it anyway.

That's not the way it works. Changes are from the team that took the field.

Take a look at the bench though - Mackie, Rooke, Wojcinski. More than enough defensive cover if Milburn doesn't come up. Don't be surprised if he's a late withdrawal.

I doubt he would miss. May well get the Richo man too. Will be interesting who we place on him. Rooke also a chance? Taylor? Doubt it would be Scarlo or Harley.

Ha ha lol. Yes, however only for this game. Ever since Gaz Snr prowling the forward line we've had it over the Tigers. I don't think that is going to change.

Lid back on next week. :D

The tigers should be primed for this more than almost any other game this year. They feel they are proving themselves a little more and this a good showing against the cats will go a long way.

IMO one of two things will happen;
1. We will continue our lackluster form in which case it will be a hard fought win or;
2. We will rip 22 Tiger players a new one, and win by an Essendon type margin!! ;)

It's the third alternative I'm worried about [ well a little :) ] we continue our below par form, they jump us early and get a reasonable lead, get their confidence up and keep us at arms length for the rest of the match.

We won't want to get 25/30 points behind, especially if it's wet, as good as we are we can't expect to win games with twenty five or thirty minutes of good footy "every" week, sooner or later it's gonna bite us square in the rear end.

Having said all that I don't expect tomorrow to be that day, about a five or six goal win to the Cats I think, and hopefully a bit more consistency as well.
