One thing is for certain, I hate the bye.

Another thing, I thought I was passionate about AFL, but I just really like AFL and am passionate about Collingwood. This week of footy is just not the same without our boys.

It is kind of relaxing though.

Hawthorn are incredibly vulnerable without Mitchell and Hodge. They looked rattled in the first quarter and a half.

If Mitchell is still out by the time we play them...boy oh boy wowee. The guy kills us every time.

Sydney look the better team, just need to convert. Should go on with it from here and win comfortably.

They looked the better team...

Hawthorn have kicked four of the last five and really started to get their structure right in the second half of the second quarter. Cut Kennedy and Hannebury out and it's shut the gate time.

I hope I'm wrong BTW because I jumped on Sydney under 39.5!

Rioli hamstring and Roughead will get suspended and on top of that Lake and Hodge to miss some footy. It is sure to test their depth in the coming weeks.

They are no doubt the best side in the comp but if they can beat the Swans and drop 2 games in the next 4-6 weeks I will be happy.

Great quarter from Hawthorn but the injuries are mounting up. Particularly Gibson. Still think Sydney by a couple of goals.

I'd rather hawthorn win. Don't want Sydney chasing us down in the second half of the season. The more points between us and them the better. Hawthorn will drop 2 of their next 5 anyway.

It is. No stress whatsoever. I've noticed quite a few calls not paid in marking contests that Travis Cloke gets annihilated for.

This. A win to the Hawks is the result we want, but it'll be tough from here!

Really? Why would we want the Hawks to win?

If we are good enough Sydney is irrelevant.

Sydney are now ahead of us on %.

A victory to Hawthorn would have left us 4 points ahead with a game in hand. At the end of the day if we're good enough we'll make it, but a win to the Hawks would have provided some breathing space on the chasing pack.

It's why I'll be gunning for Port tomorrow.

We could be on top of the ladder if we beat the Hawks in round 14.

Hawks are still the team to beat but it is an even year. Great chance for our club over the next few weeks. Top 4 is very realistic.

allright we need to pump the living crap out of adelaide next thursday. it is about time we start boosting our percentage because it may come down to that at the end of the year. There is nothing worse than missing the top 4 due to percentage.
