I cannot decide between the following options:

I have $120K in the bank

OPTION 1.
1. Jones (out), Swan (in)... leaves me with $25K, so I can then go..
2. Waters (out), Milburn (in) reduces my backline zero's to one!
...this trade clears me out of $$, and I miss the S. Browne train. But it does address the backline, and instantly improve my team for the week by about 150points, by virtue of gaining a score in the backline and acquiring a midfield gun at the expense of Jones


OPTION 2.
1. Jones (out), S. Browne (in)... makes me another $214K, leaving me with $334K
2. Bird (out), J. Corey (in)... leaves me with
.... This trade ensures I get yet another $cow (browne) and I get on Corey while he is only $425K (and Corey > Swan). It also gives me a crack at Rioli --> B. Johnson next week as I will still have $82K in the bank.

I'm tossing up a couple of options at the moment.

???? -> S Browne out of Palmer, Ibbotson, Masten or Houli. Can't decide, they're all worth keeping but i want browne so i can free up some cash to make

Hawkins --> Pavlich.

Alternatively, i could trade leuenberger out but unfortunately there aren't that many rookie ruckmen; the only one that comes to mind is mumford and he's a bit rubbish.

Thoughts?

Do you have another bench ruckman who gets a few games and can potentially play as an emergency? The rucks are the best place to just wipe off a position, given that there are only 4 spots in total, which means that the probability of suffering due to injuries is minimal. So if you can make $100K on Berg to Mumford then it's almost worth it, even if Mumford doesn't play. However, if you're then left with say, Mumford and Meeson etc, probably don't do it. Only if you then have, say, Mumford & Kruezer or Mumford and Hampson even.

Out of those mids, they are all as likely to keep their spot as each other, so perhaps think in terms of how much $$ you'll make, and who is likely to make the most $$ in the future...

But is it unwise to pass on Browne, given there is no obvious trade option for Bird the week after, when I will need to make cash to get on B. Johnson... Perhaps I could trade Taylor in for Myers next week, to facilitate the Johnno trade...

Also, if I pass on Corey, it is unlikely I will be able to get him in the future... unless I cough up $450+

Corey is a must but with the inclement weather predicted for tomorrow I cant see his price rising too much...

BJ still isnt 100% and with Welsh / Murphy / Minson in the forward line I think it really makes it harder for him...

Yeah I think Corey's Breakeven is around 80, so if he gets 120, which would probably be the worst case scenario for me given the weather, he might only rise $15-20K, in which case I could still acquire him the next week if I trade in Bird... but will there be a logical option for Bird next week? I'm just wondering if missing Browne is perhaps the most critical element of these options...

I know Milburn is an obvious one at the moment but Roughead seems to be doing enough to at least be considered right?

from the research i have done, gram averages a tick under 100 against the pies, so im holding off upgrading him this week for that reason

Downgrade Palmer to Browne this week. You would make alot of cash which will allow you to upgrade Griffen to a star (Swan, Murphy, Goodwin so on..)

Do you have any bench player who you can put on the field while Symes is injured?

If not upgrade Gram and Symes... OR if you do upgrade Gram and Bradshaw.

Symes will defiently be back in our side when he has recovered..no doubt.

He will have more time in the midfield I would say..

I would upgrade Vince ASAP. Yes I think this maybe one of his best games but still... he isnt consistant.

Against the Kanagaz I only saw him in spots..in the Showdown he was every where.

He will be a good pick up next year but get rid of him ASAP

A big question is will there be midfield c/cows next week to get on, if I pass on Browne this week to go with option 1?

Option 1 for me.
Corey is my best player in my team..im really happy I have him..but you need to get Miburn so you dont force a 0 in your backline

yeah i think i mite upgrade symes, i got him for cash and he has done just that, an with his past games an his BE wen he comes bak , if i dont get rid of him now, i wont be able to do nething, i had trouble last year on waiting an im not doin that this year.



with bradshaws BE over 120 i think i mite get rid of him for burgoyne?

is he a good choice ?

Had a little bit of cash from last week, so my trades were simple this week:

Proud to Milburn
Dyson to Corey

My backs are ready to go now, just one of Barlow/Wonna to upgrade once the Chad comes back.

My mids are almost ready to go now too, just one of Palmer/Callan to upgrade once I get some more out of my cash cows.

Still have 120k though, so just waiting for the perfect time.
