same situation mate. i think im going hill>BJ and just cop 0 for Symes. Hill will drop heaps next game (thats if hes selected in the first place) and BJ will go up heaps, while Symes' price aint goin anywhere

Fev too inconsistent to stay, Rioli prob has a few weeks in him before he tops out, but if you don't trade him now, you may miss BJ and Pav, both looking like increasing in value. Pav>Gia for me, more consistent and durable.
If you haven't spent too many trades, looks good. If you've burned too many already, maybe just Fev>BJ for now.

Aim for either P.Burgoyne or Milburn. I'd say Ellis and Barlow are priority upgrades there. Gram is annoyingly inconsistent but at least he is capable of 90+ scores so he can wait a few weeks in your case.
I'd say Waters is the most likely to bounce back. Once he hits the form he showed in Rounds 1-3 then he will be right up there with the best backmen. Its only a matter of time, and really depends on when the Eagles improve as a team.

i have a feeling this is the 'sell Craig Bird for Steven Browne' week for many DTers.
Rioli has hit a mini-peak. pretty good time to upgrade.
Travis Cloke is playing on my mind. i would use any excuse to sell (if Valenti's name comes up on the teamsheet - i would reconsider my moves!). otherwise, he's on his last chance.

Cloke is on my mind as well, and I think I will trade him out next week. This week, his BE is 63 and he is playing an undermanned defence of the Saints so I think he will go up slightly. I want to pick up BJ while he is relatively cheap, but have other priorities this week. I will probably be upgrading Cloke to BJ and downgrade Rioli to Neagle, with Gamble taking the 7th forward spot. Then, the following week, Gamble can be turned into Chappy...

In: BJ, Chapman, Neagle (or other rookie leaving him and Tippet as emergencies)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but would he be likely to go down in value soon or has he already bottomed? Also tossing up whether or not I want the consistency of Birchall... but he doesn't seem to get as many big scores...

you're getting rid of Symes
I think i will be. I really all depends on your situation. If i don't trade him, i will have zeros for a few weeks because Brown is already filling in for Cornes. He isn't killing it, he isn't averaging 90+ as a backman, there are a lot better options than Symes and i'm don't want to loose 160 odd points for a person how is going to average 70-75. If it was Shaw or C.Cornes i wouldn't trade because they are stand outs but there are so many better options than Symes.

you're getting rid of Symes
Yeah, Symes' ankle has gotten a fair bit worse from what was initually thought, could miss up to 5 weeks max...With Reilly & Knights getting in the side regularly and hitting their straps by 5 weeks from their injuries, that would mean less midfield time for Symes, so he would naturally get less of the ball because he'd either be on the pine or in the back pocket...I've got the same situation, in two minds about whether to trade him, though I really like the thought of getting Milburn in and making cash off that trade as well because in my eyes it's a bit of an upgrade...But I don't really like the thought of wasting to many trades early on because trades become valuable during the tail end of the season because of injuries & tanking
D)...We've got a bit of time to analyse the negatives against the positives, longer than usual, so I'm sure whatever decision people come up with they'll be quite confident in imo...
