Very proud of the team. If somebody would tell they will perform like this before season started I would be very happy. Last year Melbourne rubbished us 2x by 69 and 96 points.

Ultimately clearances lost it for us. And yes, some umpires calls were disgusting.

Our back 6 really holds on to grim death. I'm not convinced about Hombsch - but he suits our extremely conservative play.

Our back 6 did absolutely amazing job including Hombsh. Consider the number of entries they faced. If we were able to generate the same number we would had kill Melbourne.

Bowes: 35 games
Brodie: 13 games

Why does Bowes, as a midfielder, continue to get games over Brodie? And yes he may be able to play different positions than Brodie but he is playing midfield, which is where Brodie plays?

Always dissapointing to go down but a lot of positives to take out of that game. Lukosius is starting to find his feet at afl level and Wright is getting better each week. King should get a game sooner rather than later. I watched the NEAFL game today and Brodie deserves a decent crack at afl level.

We play boring footy as you call it as we are a very young, learning side. It's a back to basics approach.

Not a chance, Brodie doesn’t put in the pressure and effort that Miller, Bowes, Darcy Mac and Swallow put in. Lazy one way player

Lazy is possibly a little harsh.. But it's true he's a one way player and his pressure acts numbers reflect that.

He is playing roughly 65% of game time in a team that struggles to get it forward. He works his ass off and honestly would be a 35 goal player in a team that rewards his leading patterns. Going to be a superstar

Possibly a bit harsh, but his efforts look woeful against those boys who all try their rings out game in game out
