We kicked way to many behinds kept Melbourne in the game what a performance from Rosa's he did a Ronke! Heeney 3rd quarter was incredible.

Great win Swans, always in control but maybe put the cue in the rack a bit early.

Dees very impressive, never gave up and made it a nervy min or two.

Rosas exceptional, really like how he goes about it and so clinical, was a kicking lesson today.

Mills quality, brave in defence and with ball in hand, starts off many a scoring chain from taking calculated risks.

Heens and Grundy continue their elite tandem act, both in career best form.

Great to see Logan get a few goals too, will be good for the confidence.

Our defence was terrible and so was our forward defence. The defence being terrible had nothing to do with McCartin being out. It was due to Mills and Rampe being so bloody poor. The Forward Defence was also poor. Charlie you are no longer playing for Carlton. We do expect you to pick up your opponent. Paps I love you but when we don't have the ball you are a bloody liability. How the eff did they get that close? The other thing is the umpiring, which was not just poor it was biased.

Probably the most even team performance, in the sense that I think only one (Rosas) out of our entire 23 had what could be considered a "great" game, but everyone else bar maybe two or three had "good" games.

It can't be under-estimated how much losing McCartin put our defence out of whack. It looked like a bunch of very good players just trying to adjust on the fly. I suspect if McCartin misses again next week, the group playing without him will be better for the trial run.

I like that we didn't always have it easy. In fact there were periods where Melbourne looked the better team. But most importantly - and it's a recurring theme from this year - we didn't look bad in those periods at all. We just absorbed and adjusted.

Not our best performance but still an encouraging performance. And the encouraging performances just keep coming for us.

Chad actually put in the hard yards with his defence and is becoming a lot more physical in his defensive side. I liked what i saw from him today.
I love Rosas. Even the little toe poke just the softest touch to Curnow and that tap on to Blakey. He's just so aware of where the ball needs to go or he needs to be. We have done so well with our trading this year. The celebration with Blakey where he covers his mouth in an pretend astonished look was a classic
Grundy was massive with 2 rucks against him.
Rowbottom doesnt get enough love.
Thats a seriously good side we just played. Its like our smaller twin

Dunno on Bice he was decent for 2 and a bit quarters though , but is he wingman being asked to play defence ?

He isn't a better winger than Serong or Rroberts though. I'd rather Cunningham in as he can at least defend

I think the idea is if Blakey gets help Bice can play that runner out of D50
