I'm not saying i'd sell my soul (if i had one) for a win.

Buuuuuuuut....

Finally had good communication and run and carry against Richmond.
Demons will be a totally different task.
Witts and Chol will need to be on fire (at least we'll have 1 out of 2)
Our midfield will need to be on fire and our forward line will need to click as well.
If we bring our third quarter for the whole game we'll win.
Suns going big at the BANK

Out: Humphrey, Sexton.
In: Flanders, Casboult.

Sexton, Rosas or Humphrey sub?

Chol was shite but think he will probs have to chop out in the ruck a lot more to support Witts.
I think we missed Casboult's marking around the ground today and in particular his inside 50 marking. Definitely needs to come back so we have some muscle to deal with May the bully. I thought Rosas was good once he got on ground today so I'd be happy to start him next week in place of Sexton. I'd like Flanders to play as well.

We played well against the Dees at Heritage last year and only lost by 2 goals so I think this one is going to be a lot closer than some are thinking but I'm also not expecting a win.

I wouldn't want to see Humphrey play as the sub again, he needs to develop his tank. Either he starts or drop him to the vfl
I'd play him this week, rumours melbourne offered 3 late first rounders to essendon for humphrey.

let him go out and express himself. kick a few and get a nom.

If we could some how pinch this one, it would be huge, especially with WC the following week and getting us to 4-4.
It would be a special victory if we found a way to pinch this one. People can say North and Richmond are struggling this year and that our wins weren't that impressive in that sense but a W over the Demons is a result that can't be ignored. Especially considering the teams directly above us on the ladder are all playing each other or teams above them:

7th Geelong (4 wins) v 8th Adelaide (4 wins)
9th Essendon (4 wins) v 5th Port Adelaide (5 wins)
10th Bulldogs (4 wins) v 12th GWS (3 wins)
11th Sydney (3 wins) v 1st Collingwood (6 wins)
13th Gold Coast (3 wins) v 2nd Melbourne (5 wins)

This means we'll very likely be tied 8th if we beat the Demons and the worst case scenario would most likely be 2 points behind 8th placed Carlton. Then we face possibly the worst team in the AFL in West Coast and the other teams around us have mostly tough opponents so the potential for us to be inside the top 8 going into the round 10 QClash at the Gabba in 2 weeks is definitely there. That would be awesome to attend the first ever QClash involving 2 top 8 teams and it's likely to occur should we beat Melbourne on Saturday arvo but obviously we shouldn't get too carried away. Just saying there's massive potential if we beat the Dees.

He looked disappointed with some of his own efforts during the game. I would be happy to back him in again this week.
