We did, but playing at a fraction of our capabilities and what we've seen over the past few weeks. Today there was no dare, plenty of fumbles and no real synergy between the players.

Bowes and Ellis can't be missing shots from 25 out on a slight angle. Maddening stuff.

The problem is that because there was no reserve game we don't know who to promote next week. Still think Lemmons is a very average AFL level footballer and Ainsworth kicked his one off goal kicking effort for the season two games ago

Saints missed much worse one than us. If we played that last quarter like we did the last 5 mins of the game we would’ve won. Qclash will be tough next week

Its the way we lost though BRM. We were destroying them in the 3rd and come out flaccid in the 4th and just let a dogshit team like theirs walk over the top of us. There just can't be the same excuses of injuries when the effort isn't at the level required for large portions of gameplay. I've been as positive as anyone on here for a long time but today wasn't good enough. No 2 ways about it.

The problem is that win we keep the same 22 for the next week regardless of the opposition make up. I guarantee not everyone played well last week and if someone like Brodie gets 40 possessions in the 2s he has to be at least an emergency.(set benchmark for the others) We aren't following a lot of basic footy principals
