They’ve been pumped by a combined total of 24 goals the past two weeks i would be very disappointed if we drop this game.

On the flipside they won their first 4 including Brisbane and Adelaide away, and their 3 big losses have come with English and Jones out, and Richards hampered.

I'm not worried.

Our side has a lot of upside. I fully acknowledge WB are a good side and deserve respect despite injuries.

No win is inked in, but our evolving belief and professionalism gives us every chance to get another win here. If I had to bet the house on the outcome, it's raining purple!

If we had the same amount of rest days I'd be confident of a significant win. As it stands though I think we'll need a buffer of at least 5 goals heading into the last quarter. we're putting out a much better team but run in the legs worries me.

I think it may not be as big a deal as I'd thought, the Hawks have just had a 5 day break, into their 7 day break against us.
We would have had three 6 day breaks in a row, but we'll both essentially be on 3 games in 13 days with us travelling to and from Melbourne once and them travelling to and from Launceston plus to Perth.

They did have a bye in round 3 (heck Opening Round), but this early in the season I don't think that is a huge thing.

Ok that moon stuff sounds very similar to how the umpires adjudicate holding the ball, which I believe is also moon based, there is a clear crossover here.

This game has either a 60+ win with how short they are or they defend like life depends on it and are just way to quick for us and beat us. This is a danger game that I can see us losing. We shouldn’t but wouldn’t be shocked if we did. Might put $100 on the dogs just to make it hurt less if they win.

Biggest key to the game will be don’t let the ball hit the ground in the front half and we control the game.

Dogs still have lots of quality players on the park, bont, richards, naughton, english etc this is going to be a tough game, boys will have to dig deep and play 4 quarters.

It will be probably be won and lost in the middle (shocker).

If they manage to cut off enough supply into our 50 they can protect their undermanned defense. If we get it in there enough we should win but that means at least breaking even out of the middle/at contest around the ground.

I'm looking forward to yet another stressful game.

I think if we win both it defines top 2 more then top 4 6 points clear of 3rd and close to 12-16+% of 5th

I think we're in better form and they are in worse form without Lobb, O'Donnell, Libba, Darcy. On paper and on form this should be a win. The only chance really should be that our guys don't turn up with sufficient energy. I feel like they have matured over the past 12 months and hopefully this will be avoided.

Dogs have the unenviable dumbell team distribution. 11 players under 50 games. Like I said earlier in the week though, this is one that you just have to be afraid of. We will know pretty quickly if we're on tonight.

They're fielding a worse team than they did last year, got a couple of underdone key players back, but still missing plenty of Best 23 guys.
