Battle, like Membrey, has a swinging action when kicking for goal. Out of form, they hit the ball too early, slicing to the right.

All things considered, I think Goddard’s actually been ok.

I’ve been of the opinion that the plan for Hugh has been a mirror of that for Freeman.
Both have suffered career threatening injuries and both have been out of the game for years.
So the plan for Hugh this year has been to get him on the park and give him game time.
Get over this year, get his confidence back and plan for next year.
He reminds me so much of Freeman in that respect.
If you watch both closely, you’ll see flashes of talent.
Almost as if they forget themselves.
With Hugh, there was a spoil at a crowded CHB in the last home game.
Nothing much but it was well executed, and most importantly, he got there quick.
He hasn’t played nearly as well today.
(That last passage of play being an example; shocking bounce, poor kick on goal but he was there and evaded a tackle).
Am I dreaming wishfully, or can you see it too?

Not many left in form at VFL level. Haven't seen a huge amount of Coff, Armo obviously too good but not exactly dominating.

At least this is a perfect warmup for watching the ones tonight.

Exactly a few clueless campaigners , I have seen him in play live on a number of occasions and he is going okay.

But then again a lot easier to just pot him based on two turnovers in one game.
